    “I visited the store to buy Nike runners. I was struggling to find a pair that provided the support and comfort I was looking for. A worker, Myah, asked me to explain what I wanted and she immediately suggested a type of ASICS. They were exactly what I was hoping to find. I would have never tried ASICS without her suggestion. I'd like to see more young workers follow Myah's example and engage with customers, not wait for customers to approach them. Great customer service. Thank you Myah!”

    The outdoor retailer plans to open a 100,000-square-foot store in College Station, Texas, in 2028. It'll sit along State Highway 6, north of William D. Fitch Parkway, next to a Costco and in front of the future South College Station baseball and softball complex. On Sept. 24, the College Station City Council approved a $10.84 million sale of 28 acres in a unanimous vote. Bass Pro gets about 14 acres for its store.
