“Nice enough room but the fitted sheets who are too small for the bed and the corners kept popping off all night, the room phone didn't work because the cord kept falling out when we tried to call the office, I was not recognized as a member upon check in, except for the lady staff that checked us out the morning we left the staff was just not very friendly. But focusing on the positives it was a nice room it was a comfortable bed and it was a great location.”

“I stayed here for my birthday last year 2023 in June as a surprise weekend with my girls. The whole experience was great! The hotel the food the pool. I would suggest this hotel to any of my family or friends for sure. Also recently with another couple I went and had kids lunch at the hotel about Feb 2024 and couldn't have been happier. In fact I had wanted a drink but I'm not a big drinker and only like fruity stuff so the server / bartender said she had something perfect for me and made me one of the best fruity drinks I ever had, everyone at the table saw mine and they all wanted one :-). Great staff and beautiful hotel, I think it's the best one here in my little city of Akron, OhioFood & drinks: When my daughter's and I stayed we got a breakfast ticket and OMG don't pass it up, you can take it in the morning to the food area and basically get anything made for you fresh and hot not like other places where everything's just already out, welllllll worth it for sure!! And if you like fruity drinks ask the bartender for her fruity special, I can't remember the sweet young lady's name... Star or something ...but best service for sure!!”
“I’ve stayed here for years always great service.Great location close to downtown and anywhere in Akron you want to go. All the rooms are refinished and extremely nice. The owners are Great people who are always willing to help you in anyway and treat you like family. I highly recommend staying at this location.”
“Needed a place for the night this was super cheap and they rent by every 4 hours which I haven't heard of and hourly rate si ceni was a kid running around with random girls? Why the pirn channels tho ! Guess I k how what this place is for!!”
“It was fine for an overnight stay after going to a concert. I think they're doing some upgrades to the place so hopefully they'll be some big improvements. My room did not have running cold water in the sink. The The handle was broken. As we weren't here in the room for that long I didn't report it until we were checking out the next morning. Also the coffee maker doesn't work which is a big issue for me. Also, if you're going to stay here, you might want to bring your own makeup mirror as the lighting and mirror situation is not amenable for putting on makeup. All of that said the rooms were clean. The bed was comfortable. Every staff member I met was very nice and all of this might be being dealt with with the renovations.”

“I have just returned from a business trip to Akron, Ohio. I stayed 13 days at this Residence Inn (Akron South/Green). Rhianon, the front desk person who works afternoons until 11:00pm was outstanding. She went above and beyond what was required of her to ensure my stay was without any issues. It was always nice to see her smiling face when I returned from a hard day on the job.
The location of the hotel was perfect--close to many restaurants, grocery stores and shops. The room was comfortable and quiet. The hot breakfast every morning made it easy to have a cup of coffee and nutritious meal before my day started.
If I need to return to Akron in the future, I will definitely book my room with this hotel.”
“Decent place to stay for the price and it's easy enough to pay with cash and a id. no deposit and it's quiet for the most part. The rooms are small and there's no microwave or mini fridge, but there are dining or takeout places within a couple miles nearby....
Walkability: Close to a dollar store and a convenient store. Within about a half a mile”

“I met Basha at Red roof inns in Arlington road in Akron Ohio and he seemed very intelligible on how to put rooms together the doubles have desks and the king size has a desk too but I got to say he's pricing this based on families at 65 thereabouts for a double and 85 to 90 thereabouts for a king these rooms are beautiful you must stop here when they open again.
Closed for a remodel and these look these rooms look beautiful.”

“I was pleasantly ‘Surprised’ by the value and great service during my stay. While working in the area, I had an extended stay. I was treated very ‘Well’ by the house keeping staff
(Mellissa) in particular. In the future I will surely stay at the Arlington location again. And in my travels I’m going to use my ‘Choice privileges Membership’ that I recently became a member of.
Food and drinks: I could easily walk to grocery or restaurants.. if I wanted.”

“Rooms: Roomy and comfortable. Old offices in historic building.
Nearby activities: Art museum, theaters, parks, shopping, restaurants.
Safety: Felt safe, even walking back from EJ Thomas Hall, 10-15 min dependent on pace.
Walkability: Able to walk to theaters, park, and other restaurants.
Food and drinks: The 1 Food and Spirits is an excellent restaurant. Recommend reservations especially if going to a show downtown.
