Lock 3 Park is a great outdoor venue and park with a big city look. It is a wonderful and intimate spot for free summer tribute band concerts on Friday nights, where attendees bring their chairs. The venue offers plenty of seats, clear music, and good views of the performers. It is a magical place for festivals with nice updates, including a little music area near the children's museum. The park provides a picnic area with generous public provisions and is dog-friendly. Entry, exit, concessions, staff, and the crowd are all well-regarded, making for a painless and enjoyable experience.

The first night of Akron Pizza Fest is always a little slow. Pizza was good. The drink choices were limited. The live music was a DJ. It will be better Friday and Saturday.
