We adopted our Luna here. Staff was quick to help us and answer questions. We liked having the cat rooms to go into so that you can see which ones interact best with you. They seem to be very thorough with their adoption process.

They were able to use their microchip scanner to see if a cat I found had a chip, which the cat didn't have one. Then they answered my couple of questions and were very helpful. Always a top notch place with wonderful staff and volunteers. Thank you for all that you do.

Such a great place full of compassionate and knowledgeable staff. The animals are wonderful. We’ve adopted 5 FeLV+ cats from them over the last two years. We will always adopt from OOAK!
We rescue cats and dogs from pounds and puppy mills who are in imminent danger of euthanasia. We spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinate, and de-worm every pet we rescue prior to adoption. We also treat all medical issues that present themselves, to include extraordinary medical treatments and surgery. Every pet we rescue has a home at One of A Kind for life. We are supported by our donors and volunteers, and invite everyone to also shop in our retail store that supports our efforts. We truly strive to rescue the pets in most dire need of help.
