Tried to be a walk-in as they are allowed. Lady immediately snapped at me to get out and that they had no room for walk-ins. That's totally fine but they could've at least have been polite about it or even scheduled a later appointment. Seems like they should hire someone to work a phone cause everything is automated (poorly). Don't give these people your money.

How in the world is this employee not been fired? My husband got blood drawn at this location 6 months ago and she left a HUGE bruise and hematoma from a simple blood draw. I go today and wait in an empty waiting room. I ring the fake bell they have out, which the lady outright told me it doesn’t work. And after 20 minutes, I resort to knocking on the door, as I could see there was a lady back in the office.
She finally acknowledges my existence- by yelling (from her room) at me to take a seat. She then explains that a company is picking up blood by 1pm and she had work to do and she’s the only one there and said “I can’t clone myself!” I told her I understand she’s the only one there, but she could have at least let me know she was running behind other than ignoring me completely. She was also TERRIBLE at drawing my blood. I have one of the easiest veins out there. As I’m on my way out, she then says “don’t open any doors for at least 30 minutes” and “you may or may not bruise”. Huh?! Don’t open any doors? I’ve never heard of such a thing.
This lady is older and African American. She’s rude and terrible at her job. Quest, what are you doing? There are other reviews just like this one and they’re talking about the same person.

My name is Damon, and I had a terrible experience during two visits with a particular older African American lady. I will focus on today’s experience because I gave her a pass during my last visit, understanding that everyone can have a bad day.
Today, on March 14, 2025, my appointment was scheduled for 3:40 PM, but we didn’t finish until 4:30 PM. The main issue was the staff member’s procrastination and constant excuses. She seemed more concerned about leaving on time at 4 PM than providing quality care. Ironically, despite her attempts to hurry, she ended up staying late, primarily due to the other staff member who genuinely cared about my visit. Unfortunately, this lady refused to tell me her name, even though the nicer staff member mentioned it. I should have written it down.
I am very upset about this situation. Additionally, because she rushed and was rough while drawing my blood, I ended up with bruising and muscle soreness in my arm. I work in management at Home Depot, so I understand the importance of customer service, and I find this level of professionalism unacceptable. I will be following up to ensure this issue is addressed by the appropriate person in charge.

The doing drug screens was very rude. Something got mixed up with the paperwork and was blamint on me and almost wouldn't even let me take my drug screen for work

Although I got in to my appointment early and the tech was pleasant, I have extensive bruising from the procedure. It took her several minutes and two jabs along with several minutes of painful rooting around with the needle in my arm and hand. I know some bruising is normal, but this is the first time I have had hematomas and the bruising is deep purple. This has never happened to me before. She said she had been doing this for 31 years, but I gotta say, I hope she hasn't been doing it this badly for that long.

This place really went downhill! Just went in for routine bloodwork today and they were an hour behind. Only had one person working and I’m not sure she knew what she was doing. She kept poking me with needles and saying I wasn’t bleeding and if I drank water today. She also didn’t have the right equipment/supplies ie, no butterfly needles etc. Stay away

Quest location in Bath, OH missed one of my tests. It took 3 days for the regional manager to call back after me calling Customer Service twice (Feb 10 and Feb 11). Finally, she called me today on Feb 12th to inform that my blood sample is not good anymore since it has been more than 72 hrs and I need to come back. By the way, my husband had the same issue last year. Quest Lab in Bath, OH missed one of his tests also. And it took a few days to get a response from Quest. As a result, he needed to make a separate trip to the lab to repeat a test.

The phlebotomist either was having a very bad day or has absolutely no business working with the public. I arrived with my 7 year old daughter (who never said a word the whole time) and from the moment she called my name in the waiting room, the negativity was palpable. No response to my (bubbly) "good morning, how are you doing today?", just, "name?" with a very confrontational demeanor. I had told my daughter to remain seated until the phlebotomist was set up and if she wanted to watch, she had to stand on the other side and not be in the way. My daughter had barely stood up (was nowhere near me) and the phlebotomist very sternly commanded: "you need to sit in that chair, you're not going to run around the lab". I have been in healthcare for over 20 years and completely understand telling a child to mind--that absolutely was not the issue. But her tone and demeanor were absolutely uncalled for. My daughter's face went completely red, and as soon as we were outside she burst into tears. I have no problem with adults correcting my child, but there is an appropriate way to do that, and this woman grossly missed the mark. I have been having my labs drawn (with my daughter(s) in-tow) at the Quest in Canton for years and have never once had a complaint about an employee. Very disappointed in this location.

We had an appointment at 740 am and were right on time. It is 840 am and the tech is still looking for the doctors mdi number. Incompetence at its best

Waited for over 2 hours to piss in a cup. Genuinely ridiculous. I don’t understand how this is acceptable.

This was my second time going to Quest, first in Twinsburg, OH where they missed several tests on the doctors requisition after fasting. I decided to try another location. My doctors office informed me that more tests were missing including the one needed for my fasting.

I came in at lunch time. I was not rushed and she was so helpful answering all my questions. Now...I know why your appointments are always full!! Plus she did a great job drawing my blood..kudos, but I can't remember her name!!!!

I'm 90 years old and have been using this Quest facility a couple times year for a long time. For this visit I was not expecting that I would need a urine specimen. Ashley, the kindest tech in the world, patiently understood that I didn't want to take a bottle and bring it back -- I need a paid driver. She just told me to take my time, no rush, she'd wait. Voila. I came through just enough ! Ashley's wonderful smile as I handed it to her, made my day. BTW, her blood drawing was excellent, too. I told her I bruise easily. She made sure that I didn't! Just a teeny tiny mark. Give her a pat on the back for me, or better yet take her to lunch. Ashley, thank you!
