I truly don’t have enough words to describe how incredible our wedding day was, and it’s all thanks to our phenomenal venue La Place Events and our amazing coordinator, Orly.
From start to finish, Orly went above and beyond. He was incredibly interactive with our guests, making everyone feel welcome and cared for. He checked in on me constantly throughout the day, making sure I was comfortable, calm, and enjoying every moment. His presence was reassuring and his attention to detail was unmatched, he made everything run flawlessly.
The venue itself was stunning, and the entire team was exceptional. The bar staff were friendly, professional, and kept the drinks flowing smoothly all night. And the food? Absolutely delicious our guests are still raving about it!

“We hosted our Sober Curious Silent Disco at Elite Banquet and I could not have asked for a better experience. The owner was incredibly accommodating and made everything seamless from start to finish. The space was already prepared and ready for us as soon as we arrived, and she even displayed our flyers on the TV screens which added a special touch to the atmosphere.
The venue was clean, welcoming, and truly supported the vision of our event. My guests had an amazing time and loved the space just as much as I did. I am grateful for the professionalism and hospitality, and I look forward to working with Elite Banquet again.”
“Hands down the best priest. Fr Pfeiffer provides a very reverent mass with the most beautiful homilies. I appreciate that they are very thought provoking and deeply rooted in theology which provides much needed spiritual nourishment.”
“Wonderful place to have showers( I had 3 here so far). 5star. The only negative is the lack of lighting by the sign, name of the signage not updated and lack of lighting in the parking lots. It was pitch black and very hard to navigate especially with winter ice.”
“Suzy and her staff couldn’t have done a better job with our wedding. The drinks and food was amazing, the staff was friendly and took care of our guests, and the decorations were better than we could have imagined. Anything I wanted, they executed. I had nothing but compliments and smiles all night long and we are so grateful! Her pricing was the best value overall, it was the most inexpensive but full of quality wedding we could have found on our budget. We will use her venue again in the future!”
“My family and I recently had a wonderful time at Canal Park, home of the Akron Ducks stadium. The atmosphere at the stadium was inviting and family-friendly, making it a perfect outing for all ages. We were pleasantly surprised to find out about the recycling/infocycle activities available at the stadium, which provided a fun and educational experience for everyone.
The environment at Canal Park was wholesome and welcoming, with friendly staff and fellow attendees creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere. The small-scale professional baseball team event was a refreshing change from larger, more crowded stadiums, allowing for a more intimate and enjoyable experience.
Engaging in the recycling/infocycle activities was a highlight of our visit. It was great to see the stadium promoting sustainability and educating visitors on the importance of recycling. My family had a blast participating in these activities and learning more about how we can help protect the environment.
Overall, our time at Canal Park was fantastic. The combination of a fun, small-scale professional baseball event and engaging recycling/infocycle activities made for a memorable and enjoyable outing. I would highly recommend visiting Canal Park for a unique and family-friendly experience that is sure to be fun for all ages.”

“The golf course has some decent holes but this is NOT the place for actual golfers... so I'd give the course maybe a 2. However, people make businesses and the folks they have here were awesome. I had been here for 10 years or so. So this is an honest assessment.... love love love love Lorrine (sp) in the bar. Jimmy (I think that's his name up front) was super cool and the other patrons, Wes, Collin and a guy named Eddie Money (no lie he showed me his ID) made the day even better. I'll be back for tattoos, scotch and cigars one day soon.”
“We had our son’s birthday party here and let me tell you, we were SO impressed by the kindness, consistency, cleanliness, organization and overall incredible service of this place!! You can tell the team shares great communication from the front to the back, I didn’t have to lift a finger. They were also very accommodating to any changes needed for my party. My guests were very pleased as well! Thank you so much for giving us a good time and helping us celebrate our baby, we will be back!”
