“It's a new store, shelves are stocked and the place is clean.. Most, " not all " Dollar General stores look trashy, and there's absolutely no reason why any store should be trashy looking.”
“They have good prices as they advertise on their merchandise. They have everything from books to toys to household cleaners to drinks and food to decor and more! The staff have been friendly and helpful the couple of times we have gone.”
“Nice store! But, the employees are in backroom hanging out and seem to have a problem when they have to help you because self checkout register isn't corpoating properly. “This is a great store, but they have moved!It is no longer at 10258 South Kansas Road!It is 1.5 miles east-southeast at 10797 Kidron Road. (Google apparently erroneously deleted the new location) The pictures are of the new location.”
“Always thought big lots were supposed to be cheaper than other stores but found they are not any cheaper. Did notice they did have a nice variety of items and the store was clean and well stocked.”

“Let’s talk about Brandy. She went over and above for an elderly customer today as she searched for the very specific item this customer was needing. As she checked her customer out, the customer said the item was her husband’s favorite treat, and he had been recently placed in a nursing home. Brandy was helpful, sympathetic, and attentive.”
“I have a dollar general within walking distance of my home and travel the 10-15 mins to this location! The store is always clean, organized and stocked! The cashiers are friendly. I also love the self checkout for when I’m in a rush.”
“First time in this store and it was on $1 day. Fun to dig around in the bins. Found some good deals. Even though it was pretty busy, everyone was polite, and respectful. My toddler was throwing stuff in people's carts, "helping" them shop and I was pulling it out and apologizing, but no one was rude about it. Was an overall good experience. Workers were doing a good job as well. Will be back”
“Love the new Dollar General close to me. Anytime I need to make a quick grocery trip, I can be in and out in fifteen minutes. I got eggs, cream, potatoes, broccoli and cheese so I could whip up a quiche and polish off the bits and pieces of a baked ham. Grabbed some Dr Pepper on sale and got $5 off my entire purchase! ?”
“I picked up a couple of things at the Dollar General at 5310 Cleveland Rd., Wooster, Ohio, the morning of 14 Feb., 2024. I paid for my items with a debit card, which I left in the machine. The checkout lady, Lisa, tall with bluish hair, ran out into the parking lot and returned it to me. Her attentiveness and concern for a customer saved me a nightmare. I thank Dollar General for employing people of high character like this lady.”
“I currently work here and I love all that the store has to offer!yes we are short on staff but we are trying our hardest to clean the place up and stock shelves.the semi truck parked in the parking lot is a trucker that delivers locally for the company and parks it there for the weekends.The store is not closed early anymore that we need it to be.Reasons for early closing is that the isles are fill with merchandise and there is no way to get down the isles..Safety hazard just letting people know”
“This store is usually cleaner than some of the other older DG stores in the area. Peg, a manager there is always top notch.Everyone is trying to find help, and this DG is no exception. Unfortunately I just stopped a little after 9 pm and they were closed due to lack of help.”

The ladies (staff) are incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to chat and offer assistance...this is almost unheard of nowadays.
