Small but mighty Kroger in our little city does a great job keeping items in stock that we use. We were accustomed to a large Kroger Marketplace before moving here, but have been pleasantly surprised at the availability of items we were used to purchasing. With the international population of Athens, I think they have a nice selection of international seasonings, herbs, and sauces to accommodate a melting pot like Athens.

I like shopping here. The store itself is great in terms of selection, produce, healthy/organic but I ordered a cheese and meat tray from the deli. I was given the choice between cubes or slices. I chose cubes. When I picked it up I was disappointed to see the meat was in these huge chunks, not cubes and not the same size as the cheese cubes. It was very unappealing. The Colby Jack cheese was in a perfect cube. I pointed out the discrepancy and got a blank stare. I said do you see how unappetizing those chunks are? Blank stare. Never mind I'll go home and chop them up myself for the $40 I'm paying you. Checked in with the front of the store manager to let him know I was displeased and he hit me with "there's nothing I can do about it." Needless to say the customer service was seriously lacking. The parking lot is small and cramped.

Courteous staff and great selection. Only issue is they charge for paper bags.

Kroger does not help with paychecks for employees, it is may 24th and I am currently struggling with them to help me get my paycheck from the 26th and the 23rd but no luck, just two different managers telling me two different things. Shop somewhere that cares about employee compensation and do not apply here if you want hours and money, I can assure you won't get that here.

It's a grocery store. It's always busy and the parking lot is miserable.
The produce selection is great. The new layout is terrible.
No more plastic bags, except all of the produce bags, and now we have to pay for paper bags. Or just use all of the giant produce bags when you check out.

Wife sends clicket list early this morning to get 4x fuel points earliest can pick up is 6pm. Then Kroger calls and says they cant get our order done at all today. MGR says nothing they can do about losing the fuel points. Poor customer service no effort to make it right. We wont be back
