“Giant Eagle is one of those places where it really pays to have the free loyalty membership. Just make sure you sign up for a loyalty card at customer service or in the app before you reach the cash, otherwise many of the sale prices won’t apply and it can end up being pricier than nearby grocery stores.
That said, once you have the membership, there are some decent deals to be found. I also appreciate that the store tends to be a more peaceful place to shop compared with the nearby superstore, which can feel much more hectic.
I also really appreciate the bakery section. There’s a great selection of baked goods, and the birthday cakes in particular look fantastic with lots of options to choose from.”

“Joe the pharmacist gave me advice about an infection I had and I got worried. My arm was swollen bad. I decided to go to the emergency room and was hospitized for 3 days with MRSA and Staph infections having a party in my arm. Dr. said if I would have waited It could have been bad news. Thanks Joe for telling me like it is! Who knows how things would have played out if he didn't make me listen.

“Pharmacist Wendy to the rescu!. I ran out of my short term medication that is absolutely critical. (Insurance makes refills very difficult, had a silly hold on it). She found a way and I got my medication in time. Very grateful. Wonderful service. Wendy rocks. I’m quite disappointed to see how low customers are rating the store. The employees couldn’t have been more helpful not just today but many years now.
Unfortunately, people are probably frustrated with insurance/Pharma drug prices and taking out on the wrong folks.”

“Went here because our Pharmacy didn't have the medicine our daughter needed. Dan the Pharmacist....what a nice guy. Talked to him over the phone and in-person, just a genuine and caring person. This feel reminds me of when small pharmacies knew everybody in town and didn't just treat them as a "stranger". Dan was talking to somebody about a recent procedure a customer had and asked how they were. When I was picking up the prescription, he was talking to another customer about their husband. This Pharmacy isn't far from us, I may just consider moving my family's scripts to this Walgreens just to benefit from this care and service.”
