“Depending on your rooms, it’s subpar. In the single queen beds on the second floor are falling apart. Third floor rooms seemed decent, and fourth floors were nice although it smelled like a very strong odor of marijuana. This was pretty constant. The smell was so strong sometimes I’d would seep into our room. Also, the hot tub had so much chlorine in it, we couldn’t stand to be in there for more than five minutes, and it actually bleached our bathing suits. The front desk is always nice and pretty accommodating.”

“First time staying here. Couldn't ask for anything better. Felt like I was home. Rooms were clean, quiet, and made you feel like u just walked into your own house. Staff was awesome. Very friendly and nice. This is hands down my favorite place to stay now. It reminds me of how places were back in my childhood. I hope I get to come back soon”

“I was here for just one night so I probably can't give a all inclusive review. Checked in mid evening and the clerk was acceptable but not welcoming. Being here for a night stay for work I didn't care so much. The check in process was quick and I was off.The room is dated so bring your own USB chargers. The TV is like the room and I had it on for all about five minutes then switched to watching something on my tablet. The bed was comfortable enough and I like to think I slept well. The shower was wet so who can complain about that. What was the deal with the toilet seat? It refused to stay up! Yes! I found out the hard way...Location is decent as it's close to all that matters for a traveler. If you are needing a comfy bed for the night with no frills? This is the place.Update 2/17/24: I have stayed here twice since my last review and everything still stands. Although I haven't had a issue with a toilet seat. Even managed to hang a round long enough for breakfast. It was surprisingly good so there's that.”

“Very nice Hampton Inn. We've stayed here several times over the past 18 months. Location feels really safe/secure, easy parking, and not too far from the major interstates. Very dog friendly - the most dog friendly commercial hotel we've been, too. Every staff member has been super friendly and welcoming. Nice options for gas, dining, and coffee nearby. Highly recommend for travelers who need a place to stay with their pet.Safety: Tucked away near an assistant living facility, remote enough to not have crazy busy traffic next to dog walking station, but easy access/walking distance to several dining options and a gas station. Starbucks is close by as well. Well lit parking lot.Food & drinks: Gas stations are close by, as well as a Starbucks, a sandwich shop, a higher end steakhouse, and pizza shop all within walking distance.Noteworthy details: Very dog/pet and family friendly. Nice area to walk dog, with doggie bags and trash cans nearby. Not too busy, but close enough to major highways/interstates. Stayed here several times over the past 18 months, and all the staff was friendly/welcoming.”

“It’s a really nice place but….can’t believe when they renovated the main location they made the bar area so small. The bar at buhl golf course is way nicer. The breakfast buffet was worse this year than last year and was pretty disappointing. Don’t even know what those eggs were on top of the oily bread and the sausages always taste undercooked. Won’t be doing the buffet next year. The main menu could use more sandwiches for variety. I like the renovations at new castle golf course as do my group of golfing friends. Will be looking forward to my next outing at Avalon but hold the buffet…..”

“This property understands hospitality and 5-star service. From the moment I checked in, I could tell the place was special. All common areas are well-appointed and clean. The decor is contemporary, while the fireplace on the patio was lit during a snowstorm! Each evening, I dined at their Kensington restaurant, and Zena (server) made each dinner better than the next! Her attention to detail, great suggestions, and wonderful personality make this place special. The bartender Erica knows how to juggle several customers at one time as she makes picture-perfect drinks. While the food is prepared by a classically trained chef. The Chicken Marsala dish was one of his dishes, I had to have it a third time.So kudos to the entire team! I'll be back and know if you stay here, you'll return as well!”

“Perfect location! Close to freeways, restaurants and shopping. Rooms are kept clean, could use a mini fridge, microwave or coffee pot in rooms. Although they are available in the lobby! Pet friendly is a plus :) If you're looking for a clean, safe room to stay a night or two, this is your place!”

“This is one of the cheapest hotels I've ever found when traveling across the country. And usually at the price it's sketchy and gross. But this place was super clean, nice, friendly staff, a restaurant connected to the hotel, breakfast included and one turn from the highway exit. Plus the gas station is right in front so very little stops before on the road again. They also have cameras in the hallways, which is a safety feature I prefer.”

“The hotel is okay they need to add more channels to the TV also they need to male sure that there wifi works at a %100 percent at all times. I also think they should at least serve some type of breakfast if you don't want to leave the building.”
