“I feel like Norm from "Cheers" every time I walk through the door. Doesn't matter who is working, they greet me by my name and a willingness to help. Most don't even ask for my phone number anymore at checkout because they know me that well. Great place to shop for tools and parts.”

“A bad week ended with a great friend and car dealership I will go to every time. Bill Steedle and his staff helped me get my Jeep that was promised to me by another dealership. On Saturday September 9, 2023 myself and my husband were at a dealership in Pikeville Ky when I drove a Jeep Grand Cherokee L Midnight Sky. I fell in love, but we called a dealership that we had done business with in the past for a better offer. They promised that if we made the two and a half hour drive to Glockner in Ashland Ky, they would have one there by the time we got there and beat the other dealerships offer. We brought the paperwork with the other dealerships offer on it and the word games started. We got there at 5pm, no Jeep Grand Cherokee L Midnight Sky on their lot. Word game: we can get it for you, better price but if we have something on the lot that we like better, we would recommend that. They had nothing else I wanted. I had made up my mind ( Sales person Kenny; I totally understand) I can get the one you want but it's an hour away. Ok, we looked at pictures, this one had the light color interior, 40/60 bench second row seat and the tow prep package we decided on. The sales person ( Kenny) we here at Glockner do a lifetime powertrain warranty and we will tint your windows, it will be here Wednesday waiting on you for this price. Even though the Jeep was not in their possession, they asked us for a $500 deposit. We agreed and left at 8pm with a two and a half hour drive back home. We were excited and looking forward to the new Jeep.Fast forward to Tuesday afternoon, sales person (Kenny) leaves a voice message on my husband's phone stating they still have not heard back from the dealership with the Jeep that we had agreed upon but he was still working on it. Wednesday around noon ( a time line that would've been us on the road to go pickup our promised Jeep) the sales person ( Kenny) plays text, phone call, text, phone call multiple times, telling us they can't get the agreed upon Jeep. We ask three times for our deposit back and three times, I will call you back in 15 minutes with the return of your deposit receipt. When sales person (Kenny) calls we ask him where the Jeep is located that we agreed to purchase ( remember, sales person Kenny told us it was an hour away) It was located at Belmont Jeep in Barnesville, Ohio ( 2 1/2 hours from Ashland Ky) We called Belmont Jeep and spoke with Bill ( the owner) he had told them on Monday that he was not going to do a dealer trade. ( Monday!!!) I explained to Bill my predicament and we came to a verbal agreement, even though they were five and a half hours from my home.( Around 5:30 pm sales person (Kenny) states they have found the exact same Jeep with the same package at a Tennessee dealership. But gave us until 6:30 pm to let him know what we wanted to do. I called Bill back at the Belmont Jeep in Barnesville Ohio and we went over the math from the Glockner dealership offer, Bill's math made since as every cent and rebate was accounted for. So, we called sales person (Kenny) back to let him know we were not going to go with them and we needed our $500 good faith deposit back. Kenny stated that because they have a vehicle in Tennessee, not yet traded for, or transported to their dealership, we would not be getting our deposit back.Spending Thursday with Bill Steedle at Belmont Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram and not having smoke blown up my rear for the day just to get me to take the Jeep home was to say the least, refreshing. They're a small dealership with a great home town pride and personality. Bill hugged me the first time he met me and I'm not a hugger. He provided a hospitality that is completely lost in the two big dealerships we dealt with. If you need a vehicle and don't need smoke and mirrors to get you to purchase it, my best advice; Go See Bill ?”
