“This Hotel Is Awesome! This is my go to when coming to Dayton! It is clean and the rooms are nice. The staff is great and the free breakfast is always awesome as well.”

“The food poctures I shared is not from the Hotel that is food my husband bought before he get back from his hamradio gathering in town which is 2mins.distance from the Hotel.

The facade of Hotel is from the first location my husband booked which is mishap so he cancel that and the staff help him to rebook in their location in Presidential Street quite farthest from the original but more convenient for dining and closer to my husband gathering .the room has nothing special but everything you need is working and available .I conclude I am satisfied though for me the cost is a bit expensive compares to other hotels we check in during our two weeks trip.”

“Older property that's starting to show its age, especially in the hallways. The rooms are all nice and updated though. There's another elevator and exit near the high numbered rooms, so you don't have too much of a hike.

The Concierge lounge is nice and has a decent continental breakfast, but the people here are really what make the hotel. Everyone is always so welcoming and friendly, it makes it a pleasure to stay here if we're in the Dayton area.”

“WOW!!

Okay, time to start at the beginning. We were coming this direction and I was looking for a Hilton Home2 suites near the Costco. This one popped up nearly on top of it. We go to the Costco to get gas especially since the prices went up so much! When we entered we were greeted immediately. Everyone was very friendly! The pool was clean and warm and being cleaned by a gentleman who was doing a fantastic job. We talked for a few moments too. Very friendly and proud of his work. The workout room and the washer dryer area were super clean. The decor is very friendly and happy. The room was perfect and we brought in our things and settled in for the night. The next morning we were greeted with the best breakfast I've seen at a Hilton. The person working here was a chef and knows how to prepare food correctly!! I talked to him for 10 minutes and he described he could put together a great breakfast. As you can see from the photos, he is definitely not lying! This was the best breakfast. Everything was delicious. I can't recommend this place more. Its location is perfect and the people are perfect. The breakfast is the cherry on top making it the ideal place to stop went in this area. Two gigantic thumbs up!!! 👍👍

“Wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to everything. Clean, economical, bed was super comfortable, restaurant has a nice variety of dishes, convenient. Would definetly stay here again. Pool was nice.”

“My stay was okay overall, but I was disappointed with how room preferences were handled. I’m an IHG Platinum member and have a ground-floor preference saved in my profile, yet I was assigned a room on the 4th floor. A member of my party who is not an IHG member was asked which floor they wanted and was given a ground-floor room. I understand preferences are subject to availability, but I expected more consistency and more attention to member preferences.

More concerning, on the morning of checkout, I was told checkout was at noon, but around 9:20 AM someone knocked and then used a key card to open my room door while I was in the shower! The only thing that prevented entry was the interior latch. That is a serious safety issue. I do not know who attempted to enter, and an occupied room should not be accessed before checkout while a guest is still inside. This needs to be reviewed as a room security issue.”

“I attended an event celebrating the dayton contemporary dance company (dcdc). The newly renovated venue looks very nice, it was however too cool to be comfortable. Food was tasty and service was good.”

“I absolutely love this little place! Very clean! The beds, linens, and especially the pillows are so comfy! The rooms are small, but cozy and perfect for a good nights rest! We stayed here a few nights ago on our way to Chicago and loved it so much we came back to stay on our trip back!”

“Thomas, the obviously talented new chef, prepared an incredible meal for me on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. After a long and exhausting day at work, his culinary masterpiece truly hit the spot and lifted my spirits, especially with the challenge of working and traveling around the holiday!

Hannah, the very skilled bartender, was incredibly kind and engaging. We had a delightful conversation, and she managed to be both attentive to our chat and efficient in serving other patrons. Her ability to seamlessly transition between conversations and her duties was truly impressive!”

“This Holiday Inn was nice. It was in a good area and the rooms were... about as good as other Holiday Inn rooms. Which I do like. The extra little long seat sort of bed they give is super nice. The bathroom was pretty neat and we had enough of everything to stay the one night we did. The beds were comfortable enough for a hotel bed and the blinds above the AC are super nice. Even if the process of raising them and lowering them annoys me.

The breakfast was pretty good as well! I didn't get a chance to go down there during the breakfast my girlfriend did. She said it was nice. She did bring food up to me and it was good! Good variety.

I ALSO love that the check out time is at noon. Not sure if that's on a room to room basis, but I'm not a morning person so having to not scramble to check out is super nice in the morning. I can enjoy the time with my girlfriend and enjoy the rest of the hotel room.

Quick Note: The lights near the hotel room door are motion activated. I got up in the morning to go change and the light flash banged my girlfriend since she was looking over there from the bed.

This is definitely one of my better hotel experiences!”

“One of the best military lodges I've ever stayed at! The ladies at the front desk are exceptionally courteous and helpful. One of the ladies is kind enough to provide free Benedryl for allergy sufferers like myself. The rooms are also very clean.”

“Best hotel for the price I've been to. Very clean and neat. Nothing bad to say. The rate was so low I had to call and verify that the pics were real before booking. They are real! This place is unbeatable for the price. Really great customer service. Ashley at the front desk is amazing. Dont be scared of the price being low. Good hotel hreat people great deal. Price vs quality the best I've been to ever. (It was under 50 per night in the off season.) Breakfast was in line with standard hotel as well. Egg meat waffle machine. Really good biscuit n gravy on weekend. Book it, you wont have anything to worry about. It is a bit dated bit very clean and well taken care of. Safe neighborhood as well.”

“This was a very nice motel and reasonably priced. Our room was very nice and very clean. The staff was wonderful. When we were leaving and wanted some coffee to take with us, they hadn't had an opportunity to make more, but they were willing to make it right then and there and promised it would only take a few minutes. That was just one example of how great they were. The breakfast was included and was adequate, with cereal, instant oatmeal, waffles bagels egg patties and yogurt. The only thing that was of some concern was that the back entrance to our area of the motel was propped open, which was a slight security issue. When we shut it, we later found it propped open again. But the rooms have electronic locks and felt very secure.”

“Pleasant hotel! Not overly fancy but a great price especially for what you get. Friendly, helpful staff. Room was clean. Walls were a little thin and some guests were a little loud (not the hotel’s fault). The bed was on the firm side but it didn’t bother us much, though the springs/frame were very squeaky whenever you move at all. Breakfast was very tasty with nice options! Overall we enjoyed our stay!”

“I would say the best part is the service I was in and out cuz I reserved it early this the second time I've been here this is just a more expensive room The only thing wrong with the room if you're looking for something fast like I was is the bathroom tub was not dirty but it has like you can tell people have been using the bathtub like at your home or something if you don't clean it well it's not dirt in there it's just that it's like the discoloration stuff but it's fine room is fine The bed is to my level of hardness refrigerator is a decent size microwave is good air conditioner is working fine got enough storage place for all my clothes and they accept animals next time I come I want to bring my dog and see how that works out”

“Surprisingly betrer than some of the negative reviews I encountered.
The good:
1. While the facility is older, it is relatively good shape
2. Comfortable, above average bedding
3. Larger hotel feel creates a more relaxed feeling. Workout room and pool in good shape

The bad:
1. Service is a little below average, needing more experience with tenured travellers
2. Weakest part of hotel: breakfast offering. The buffet was both poor in quality and lacked attention to items that needed to be refilled. Suggest avoiding the kitchen all together
3. State of of affairs around front desk: suggest facility ownership step in and direct a reorganization of everthing...literally the visible area around the front desk appears to be more of a closet for office and hotel supplies.

All that said, it is a good location and a Hilton concept that simply needs a little more attention. Good value to note!”
