“Loralei’s is a *must* when I’m visiting my family in Centerville, Ohio! I love the ever-changing selection and volume of quality clothing. Everything there is name brand and in excellent shape.”
“We loved this hidden treasure! Staff was helpful and friendly. Lots of cool items from vintage to funky. Sad to hear the location is closing because we'd totally visit again!”
“If you’re looking for….. pretty much ANYTHING… this is the place to go! I love this market and I love supporting small businesses! I always find amazing deals and cool unique items here!”
“Kool place, buddy got a ratrod from here, it had been sitting forever and I got the liberty of rubbing her down and knocking off the dust and cobwebs, before helping do some updates, we fabbed up some metal webs to go in the back windows that were made of thin rebar and magnetically attached to remove them, other updates such and engine, wheels and wide white walls were installed as well as some gauges and other shiny dress up things.. the doors originally had some hand painted logos, that were removed and changed for the new owner to say "Dirty 30" it's a Ford and yes 1930 and the condition it was in was dirty, but now it's "Dirtyness" is visual beauty in the old school car game.. Rick and Kimberly Shirk are the current owners.. I'll add photos and video soon.. ..”

“Lovely staff that has been mostly consistent for the last 8 years. I wish the electronics were not priced so high considering they are untested but at least if something is broken you can return it for store credit. In the last 8 years I’ve found quite a few unbelievable treasures here. Thank you Oregon district goodwill :)”

“This is one of the BEST thrift stores around. The volunteers are awesome. They ALWAYS have a smile on. This place is one of those places you will see regular customers. The prices are low the selection is great. Good quilty items. Furniture, clothes, housewares, kitchenware ,crafts , tools, shoes, holiday items, books, jewelry, just about everything. Keep your eyes open for those nicely priced vintage items. Almost forgot you can sometimes get plants there too!
The parking lot fills up fast! Even the customers are friendly
. 2/28/26This has to be the first place that it doesn't need to be a black Friday sale to fill up the parking lot. The parking lot this morning was filled before the store was opened and a line that went into the parking lot. Customers don't mess around when it comes to this place.”
“This is such a wonderful shop. Items are in great condition with very reasonable prices. Shop is spotless. Today was my first time coming and I will definitely be back. Love that all proceeds from the shop go to help kids and families. If I could give this more than 5 stars I would ;)”

“Nice place to get women's jeans ( most in size 2-20, but they do have all sizes most of the time). Blouses. T shirts ( girls xs-xxl sometimes up to women's 3x) shoes,pj's and purses, luggage, wall art, baskets, costume jewelry, and small furniture. They have an occasional major appliance (refrigerator, washer, and dryer) for around $200.”
“Great thrift store with a lot of good finds. They have daily specials where the color tag corresponds to a special price. For the day I went, the blue and red tags were 50% off.”
“Just discovered this shop a week ago, but I have been back twice for shopping and also to drop items off for resale. It's a very nicely laid out shop, not all junky, with great staff and wonderful items. I look forward to going back regularly.”
“Bought quite a few large furniture items here last week. They provided delivery to my home in Dayton for $60 which was very reasonable and helped us a ton. Such nice guys that work here!!! Will be a go-to spot for furniture for me from now on.”
“I enjoy the selection and neatness of this store. I don't like the hours though - for a store meant to support active duty airmen and their families, you can only go during working hours.”
“Wow what service! I pulled up with a ton of clothes and Pax was right there waiting to help! It was getting ready to storm so was trying to get back home fast! I hope your boss sees your great work and gives you a raise! Thanks again!”
“I love love love this store. Always well stocked & clean. I always find something awesome when I shop here. Very helpful and friendly associates too. One of my favorite second hand shops in the area.”
“An actual thrift store in Dayton is a welcome sight.
Unlike Village Discount Outlet or Valley Thrift, here you can find furniture and clothes for actually reasonable prices. No broken Amazon bookshelves priced higher than new, no flannels for $30 or used destroyed shoes for $40. Wow!”
“Great experience. The helper came out with a cart right away and took the donations out of my car. He was very courteous and helpful. The store's a little out of my way but it will be my local Goodwill going forward. Highly recommend!”
“I really love this store — the prices are great, it always smells nice, and it’s very clean. However, it seems that new employees could use better training. The male manager with dark hair and glasses appeared to be struggling while processing my return. It took quite a long time because he couldn’t figure out the computer system. When I asked if someone else could assist, he mentioned that he was the only one available, which was surprising. He didn’t seem confident or properly trained, and eventually, the cashier had to step in to complete the transaction. I genuinely felt bad for him, but it did make the experience frustrating as a customer.”
“I absolutely love this store! Finding everything from useful furniture all the way to nostalgic items we had growing up. I have an amazing rocking chair, glass cookware, books and even some amazing VHS! I love browsing the isle two or three times, you never know what you might find.”
“I have lived all over the country and always enjoy thrifting. This goodwill has been a must visit anytime I'm in town. Not only are they cleab and friendly but they always have a selection for the whole family when it comes to clothes and fair prices unlike some other goodwills. It's not massive but has a good selection of well kept and new clothes . This has always been my #1 goodwill to visit until recently going to a Pittsburg goodwill. Worth stopping in and looking around.”
“Lois at Goodwill rocks! I peeled in at 8pm and she had just locked the doors. She was so polite and sweet to unlock the door when she saw me pull in. I ran in with my 3 bags to donate and saved me that extra trip. Thank you! Thank you!”
“Downtown & Trotwood locations.
▪︎Great place to find programs for Seniors in the community, wonderful staff.
•Excellent information base for high school students( to learn/ earn) proper prerequisites information for future job growth, also college information.”
“So cool to shop here sometimes I like to trans up a bit and get some drag and makeup and go out. Last time I was there I found some camo stuff and denim frilly looking shirts.”

“As we have gone through boxes from our move to ohio i have put things on the internet for sale. And then I have donated things that I felt somebody could use at they donated situation
I enjoy the salvation army much better than the other stores.Except for veterans volunteers of america.”
“I love this store and it’s a great place for finding little things for your house that are cute and vintage for cheap!! The staff is also always nice and it’s a very friendly place”
“I arrived for delivery at 6:00 AM. My appointment window was from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The gate was closed when I arrived, but there are a few spots outside the gate for overnight truck parking.
I tried to check in at 7:00 AM and it worked — they opened the gate and gave me a dock right away. Some pallets had shifted, but that was the shipper’s fault because the load was not stacked properly.
I was completely unloaded by 9:15 AM. Overall, it was a positive experience.

“This is the best goodwill around! It’s the cleanest, most organized and well stocked goodwill I have found in this area. The staff is amazing (shout out to Tina!) and I never leave empty handed.”
“I love adding this stop to my thrift trip! They almost always have something that I would pick up. The prices are inconsistent, but that means sometimes the stuff you want it super cheap! It can be disappointing though, and I have noticed their prices rising. Theres now way to many items around the $20+ range. Id recommend stopping at The Goodwill Bins across the street first to see if you can find cheaper alternatives”
“I went there looking to update my closet. I found so many name brands at affordable prices and in top notch condition. Would recommend for everyone to check it out”
“I had a really great experience at Plato’s Closet! When I came in, it was very busy and the line was about 8 people long. I think I came in right during rush hour because a bunch of people walked in around the same time, lol. Even though it was busy and a little overwhelming the staff stayed calm and professional, which honestly helped me feel more at ease too. I dropped a couple items off at the counter for pricing, and Ava H. helped me. She specifically told me there were two Avas working, so I wanted to make sure I mentioned the right one. The other Ava was also very helpful too. They were so delightful, friendly, and Ava H had a big smile on her face, which made the experience feel so much better. I also saw a customer get upset/rude for being inpatient, which was stressful to witness, but the employees handled it really well and de-escalated the situation calmly. I’m not sure of their names, but one girl had short hair and glasses and the other had long brown hair. They both did a great job. Overall, the staff were great, I left feeling better than when I walked in, and I got a good deal on my two items. Whatever they’re making, double it, because it would be tragic to lose staff like this. Definitely recommend!”
