“I love selling my items here. The owner is very prompt and make a very reasonable offer each time. I appreciate her honesty. She would tell me upfront what she would take and not having me wait around for her to go through a tote full of bags. I'm not in a good place to buy anything at this time, but while I was in the store, I browsed around. They have a wide collection of all designer brands. I'd definitely come back to shop here to support the owner. I think the reselling prices are reasonable compared to other secondhand resellers out there.”

“The North Olmsted store is always clean, organized and not overcrowded. Friendly, polite and attentive staff as well.
If you're LOOKING TO SELL:
1. Best to call the store and ask what they need the most, which can vary daily.
2. Bring your clean, recent (from past 1-3 yrs) fashions folded neatly in a tote or laundry basket.
3. You will get a best payout if you bring only 1 or 2 totes; more than that, & you'll not get the best earnings.
4. Be sure to note their cut off time for purchasing - usually 1 hour BEFORE they close. They stick to that cut off time!

“all my years of visiting Cleveland, I’m shocked: I’ve never been here. This place is a true treasure: rows and rows of vintage style clothing, categorized by era, ceramics and glassware of every color of the rainbow, costume style jewelry to suit anyone’s imagination. Reader, I tried so hard to be good, but I left with two very sweet black bags, both with little mirrors tucked in them ( pure coincidence? Who knows?) And enjoyed the shopkeepers company very much, as we both enjoyed very much the same, same kind of style and clothing: T-shirts, and long skirts. come with a patient friend and take your time in here: it’s worth it.”
“I decided to leave a positive review for the Strongsville Clothes Mentor rather than a negative review for the North Olmsted store. This is the best location! Not only do I almost always find something to purchase that is of quality and to my taste, but the customer service is really what sets it apart. I never have trouble getting into a fitting room. I never feel scolded by the workers or like I'm stealing when I'm clearly not. I have had challenging experiences at the other location in North Olmsted...to put it nicely.... But the ladies who work at the Strongsville location have ALWAYS been polite and courteous and don't complain. I live in Middleburg Heights so both stores are equidistant to me and I would choose to come to the Strongsville store 10/10 times. They have a range of clothing options no matter your age. I'm a young professional and can find things for work, lounging, a wedding, or night out. For the prices you pay at thrift stores nowadays, you may as well go to Clothes Mentor and actually get quality, washed clothing. It's hard to find a t-shirt that isn't see-through anymore and they provide plenty nice items. I would definitely recommend this location and I hope the ladies know what a wonderful job they are doing.”
