We have always received thorough explanations from Dr. Bando and feel like he really listens to our concerns and gives us his full attention. Never left waiting for our appointment time or feel rushed out of the office (which was the norm at our prior vet). All the staff members love their jobs and it shows. Prices are very reasonable as well. Glad to have found this place!”
“Everyone is wonderful here! My 3 dogs likes everyone there. It is easy to make an appointment.The veterinarins are wonderful! Dr Jay & Dr. Nikki take the time to explain everything when your pet is not feeling their best. If your pet needs surgery, they will let you know if it is something they can do there or give you a referral.
I have had experiences with other places that just treat you like a number and they do not seem to care about the welfare of your animals just as long as they can collect as much money as they can and still cannot tell you what is wrong.

“I really appreciate the staff and services VVC provided to my two dogs. Dr. Parrish is extremely thorough and transparent in what needed to be done with my pups. She created and plan and we put it in action. Today, they had each had a tumor/cyst removed. One from her shoulder area and the other her eye. Christina was very kind and patient as we got checked in. They allowed me to sit with them as sedation kicked in. I’m not an anxious person, but having both my dogs under anesthesia at the same time left me a bit nervous. I knew my pups were in very capable hands and cared for with gentle hearts. As long as I live in Ohio, I’ll make the drive to visit VVC. Thank you team, you’re the best!”
“Years of love started with a recommendation to Compassionate Care, my Vet was winding down her practice, my German Shepherd needed to be spayed, Compassionate is an accurate description, I hated to leave the parking lot that day, but the staff made me feel at ease. Years later they assisted at her journey across the Rainbow Bridge. Now they tend to my Jack Russells with the same level of care!”

Dr. Duffus is compassionate, up to date with all the latest technologies in veterinary medicine which makes her private practice a cut above the rest. WHAH, will always get you in for an appointment if your pet is in need whether you are a client or not. Highly recommend WHAH, this place is not just a job for the staff and Dr Duffus, you can see in each and every one of them, this is their passion!”

“I want to give the biggest and most heartfelt THANK YOU to the staff and Doctors at the Groveport Canal Animal Hospital! Everyone that works there has been so wonderful to me and my cats! The kindness that has been shown to me has brought me to tears with gratitude and touched my heart greatly. I have had to put two of my kitties to forever sleep with them and they were so very wonderful through both ordeals. I had to make the difficult decision to send my 16 cat Gigi over the Rainbow Bridge and the Doctor and staff were so wonderful, helpful, and kind. They were so understanding and it meant a lot to me that they helped me through the difficult decision and process and so kindly made ink prints of her paws and her nose. For both of my kitties the staff sent me a card with handwritten messages of sympathy, and I really appreciate the thoughtfulness and it brought me to tears because it’s so sweet of them! I also had to have my cat Frankie undergo surgery to remove bladder stones and they were so wonderful and took such good care of him, sending me pictures and keeping me updated throughout the process. They also helped my 12 year old kitty Coco with an eye infection! They take such good care of my kitties! The doctors and staff are always very communicative, and take the time to answer all my questions and concerns. Their extremely thorough, and prices are not outrageous, and they are upfront about costs. This Animal hospital is one of the BEST I have ever been to! Thank you so much for everything that you do and how much you have done for me and my fur babies! -Heather”
“This was the best experience with a vets office we have ever had. We had our male dog fixed and I didn't worry about him at all. They were patient and kind and you can tell they really love the animals In there care. We really appreciated the photo updates during the day too. Our Huckleberry is healing very well and we will be bringing our cat for her yearly shots.”

They called to check up on her and then when she passed they sent me a letter of condolences all signed by the staff ? they're so sweet I appreciate them so much and plan to bring my cats here in the future ?”
“I don’t leave reviews often but they have been the kindest and most caring vets I’ve communicated with even giving us advice over the phone on a minor injury when we didn’t know if our cat needed emergency care. “Reasonably priced and took great care of both my dogs. First time was our black labish dog...we took to a veterinary hospital in Heath before calling them and got charged $800 to not even telling us what was wrong and they just wanted to continue to run test and charge us. The second time our Husky got ahold of cannabis and ate it, was like he was dying and tripping at the same time. They got him through it and hes fine now. Highly recommend.”

“Been going here for a couple years now and every once in a while you run into vets who make it clear they have zero intention of doing anything but the bare minimum of human interaction. The vet we saw made us feel like they did not want to be there. Will most likely be taking our cats to another clinic going forward.

They are gentle and their advice and services are empathetic, compassionate, and thoughtful. My dogs have mostly seen Dr Hickin and Dr Thorn and these veterinarians are top rate professionals.”

“This place is awe some i have some feral cats out in my backyard and garage, a mama cat had 5 kittens last January. I got them fixed and relocated before i could catch her through the summer. It was hard to do. She was pregnant again and delivered 2 more babies. Went to cat welfare? Got vouchers. Mamma cat fix for $20. One babie is fixed one more to fix, they are a blessing, wonderful bunch of people. But it a process but it's worth it”

My partner called with Benny’s symptoms and they immediately told him to bring Benny in and they would see Benny right away!
