Fort Laurens Museum is a site of interesting and important history, focusing on the only Revolutionary War fort in the Ohio Territory. The museum itself is nice, with a variety of informative displays and recovered relics from archeological digs. It is a great place to learn about this farthest western fort from the American Revolution. The surrounding area is a beautiful public park with a nice park area and informative podiums about Ohio's history. Visitors can also bring a bike to ride the Towpath trail or simply enjoy the peaceful setting. The site commands much respect and includes the tomb of an unknown Revolutionary War veteran. Some visitors note that hours can be inconsistent.
This was a beautiful little trailhead! It was simple and easy to find my dad. And a great addition to her the tow path.

Very cool. Great artifacts. Love it's still an active site! And the record size Red Oak tree behind the museum was an awesome surprise ;) Bet it was there to witness the rise and fall of the fort.
