“This is a wonderful place to work out, go swimming, play basketball. It is usually not overcrowded, and has a lot of amenities. Unfortunately some of which you can’t use, such as the showers and the steam room. Some of the meeting rooms are available for rent.”

“This place is within Gunning Park, which was named for my Grandfather Thomas J. Gunning, he was a long time Councilman in Cleveland and served a term as President of Council. He was also a Lawyer and had a practice on Lorain Avenue for over 3o years. this place is well maintained and the staff is excellent. Special thanks to Marie Russell, who showed us around and had taken it upon herself to learn quite a bit about my GrandFather. thanks Marie and staff.”

“The water park is great for kids. It's like a fancy splash pad with a water slide. The water is only 2 feet deep (maybe 3 at the deepest point). My son is 11 and enjoyed playing football in the water with a bunch of other boys. Everyone was really friendly. The lifeguards were super nice and helpful as well. Our city doesn't have a pool, so this was a nice treat for us. The snack bar is basic but kept us sustained for a few hours. Very reasonably priced.”

“I'm the proud papa of 3 beautiful dogs and a cat that thinks she is a another dog. The staff are friendly and helpful always willing to answer my questions about the animals or issues. On a recent visit and a walk through , I was touched by a woman who obviously loved all the animals as she was working she would make contact with the dogs calling them by their name and giving them human contact.... very good experience. Always willing to accept donations, food , and bedding and of course cash..... Valued service and really nice staff , adoption is affordable and provides basic vet care”

“Worked here as intern last Summer. Had a great time working on a statewide campaign at OCA. Worked with great people, got tons of 1-1 interpersonal and communication experience, and I got a lot of on the job training before I started so that I didn't feel like I was behind. There's a lot of gratification in just talking to people about an issue you care about, and that's really one of the unique opportunities of working at a place like this. Would definitely recommend working at OCA.”

“Mark, Christi and the staff at Cornerstone of Hope are absolutely amazing people. I lost my Dad at a corporate owned assisted living facility in less than 20 hours. I found him locked in his room, face down, in the bathroom, alone, lifeless, in a pool of blood. I was referred to Cornerstone of Hope by a friend. I attended a 10 week grieving session with others who lost an adult loved one. The counselors, group members and staff were beyond amazing during our journey. I'm blessed to have bonded with 5 new friends who share each other's grief. We help each other get through our loss together. Cornerstone also has grief events that we attend together throughout the year. It helps support us and others who are grieving. Thank you Cornerstone for helping us through this journey. ? You are our strength.”

“Happy tears as I write this because my son recently had strep throat and what I can say is they are so patient with you here. Bringing food to the door as we were going through this tough time. Got my kids in school brick and mortar literally the week we got here. I was a stressed out homeschool parent of 5 consecutive years. The relief they gave me of being able to focus on myself, in hopes of gaining financial stability means everything. My son is getting better and we really appreciate the staff here. Any misunderstandings were always resolved. I'm also thankful for the food because it's not bad at all. Everyone works together to make Laura's Home a safe refuge. Staff is super understanding and has been helping me get my life back. Honestly, best program I've ever been part of and I'm keeping faith that I will be successful in the program. There was nowhere to go where I wouldn't have been taken advantage of. My family supported the abuser and played both sides. The breath of fresh air has been amazing here and there is no looking back. Thank you Laura's Home. Thank you.”
