“Great customer service. I was in town for a meeting (8/14 around 9am) and stopped at this location looking for some quick earrings. Because I totally forgot mine. It was a women on duty who was so kind. She literally went above and beyond even offering her earrings she had on. This was such a heart warming experience. Even her stopping what she was doing to show me what they had available in store because it looked as if she was the only one working. I did not catch her name but I wish many blessings on her...”

The staff here deserve instant sainthood. Seriously — if there’s a heaven fast-pass, these folks are first in line. They deal with nonstop chaos, restock faster than a TikTok trend, and somehow keep smiling through it all.
Every holiday shows up here two months early (Halloween in August? Yup.) and still manages to sell out. It’s my go-to for balloons, cards, wrapping paper, and random gifts that make me look like I have Bezos money on a thrift-store budget.
Massive parking lot, endless seasonal deals, and that chaotic charm we all secretly love. If retail purgatory exists, this team turned it into paradise. ??”
“I luv my neighborhood Family Dollar! The manager Bob very friendly always working and makes sure to get people out of there as quickly as possible with the resources he's given. I don't know the new night time managers name but he also keep it friendly and is always workong”
“I shop at this Family Dollar regularly. Todays visit was the second time this week. The first time this week that I visited they had no candles (I buy several plain white candles each time I visit) but it was refilled by my visit today. They usually have what I am looking for. Sometimes the workers speak when I enter the store, sometimes they don't. It's clean and organized. What more can I ask for?”
“Being that this is the closest Dollar Tree in my area, I really do like how the staff works to maintain the store. It’s stocked and neat. Very friendly staff as well. There’s a manager there, I call her “Lenny”, she rocks! She’s Always working hard to make sure the store looks nice and that the customers are taken care of. “Definitely more clean than the other ones I've been to. The only problem I've experienced here is how much of a rush they are in to get us out of the store before they close. I walked in and was immediately bombarded with the manager holding up 3 fingers and shouting "YOU HAVE THREE MINUTES LEFT PEOPLE, THREE MINUTES"”

“This Dollar tree is closer to my home. There are always shelves that are being blocked with tons of boxes that need to be unpacked. It's only been like this recently. I would say with the last 3 months being the worst.”
“Time for my holiday crafts. I love that the dollar tree stores have a small selection of unpainted wood hanging decorations. I just wished that this Family Dollar/Dollar Tree store was more organized. I picked up a few wooden blocks thinking their gonna be $1.25 and they were $3. But it is a very clean store with a great staff who were very patient n kind to their customers. Thank You for hiring great people!”
“I have to say my mood was not the greatest when I first walked into the store. I was trying to quickly shop since I was already behind schedule. This location was very easy to navigate through. Aisles clear things pushed forward. After finishing my shopping I waited in line. The guy behind the register changed my entire mood. The way he spoke with the gentleman in front of me, was like they were old friends. The gentleman mentioned his wife and her sister go in there all the time, Tony responded with their nickname and asked how she was doing after surgery. My mouth dropped how amazing of this man to connect with his customers in such a way that it changed my mood before even speaking to him. Of course my interaction with him was phenomenal. People like him are amazing and I am so happy I made a wrong turn and ended up at this dollar general. Thank you Tony. You changed my mood.”

“Usually run in for a quick item or 2. Most the employees are nice and helpful. This location rarely have inventory boxes in the aisles. Most times shelves are well stocked. A sketchy customer or someone loitering is around often. Overall I’ll continue to support this store when necessary.”
“I didn’t catch the guys name but I forgot a bag because confusion of buy my kid candy with change. Twice this man came out to bring me the bags I forgot. The last time I was already on the road and the man ran out to bring my bag I’m am very appreciative of this young man and glad to see there are humans like this still around. “This particular Family Dollar location doesn't really look like much from the outside but, once you step inside the store it is one of the nicer locations I've shopped.The store was very well maintained and well stocked, with the products that they had available - can't fault the retail locations for not having products in stock that are in very short supply these days.The stores aisles were actually spacious; Which one wouldn't think would be something to point out but I've been in some FD locations where it barely seemed as though 1 shopper and their cart could make it down the aisle without knocking products off the shelves.I would definitely shop this location again when in the area.”
“This one on Broadway and southgate is the best the one on e143 and kinsman those young girls and that one lady Mr need to go to a class on how to talk to your customers correct. If they were in a white neighborhood they would act different I spend slot of money in family dollar.and the store on e130 and buckeye those young girl don't have any respect I raised my daughter well. But family dollar is going to lose alot of business because of these kids with attitude just look in your cameras and listen to your audio. Give that job to someone who needs it thank-you”

“I live halfway between the Broadview Hts and Independence locations. I always choose the Independence location because of their manager, Bryan. I went in this past Saturday and the store was very busy! The line was longer then usual due to Mothers Day being the next day. Bryan had such great customer service and was so apologetic(even though he didn’t need to be!) all us customers knew he was alone and doing the absolute best he could! It’s so rare nowadays to see people actually providing good customer service and not looking like a robot! Also, Bryan resolved an issue a disgruntled customer was having & Bryan was so patient yet very professional with her!”
“The best DG, I have been to yet. They try to keep the store stocked. Employees are very friendly & helpful. Store is organized. Most of the prices are correct & if not they will correct them at the register. It's a shame you have to travel over 30mins to get good customer service. Most of the other stores are trashed with no products.”
“Friendly service when I am there. My teen daughter's told me that on multiple occasions one of the older male employees follow them around the store and it makes them uncomfortable. I'm sure it because of the frequency that they are there due to them trying to kill time while waiting for my 3rd grades school to let out but, he should be less offensive and more discreet with his shoplifting monitoring with young girls”
