“Store sometimes has skids of product out that aren't put away that can make it look cluttered. Aisles are narrow so it can make checking lower shelves difficult for a taller person. Check out is typically pretty fast. Good location for walking if you live in a nearby neighborhood.”
“My car was hit in the parking lot as a thief was leaving the scene. I always park out facing the street rather than the spaces facing the store, in order to stay out of the fray. It was not a robbery, just a shoplifter who knows how to stay out of camera range. He backed straight back and smashed my little Hyundai Veloster with his Denali, again, to stay out of camera range. I was just going in to get some boxes cuz I’m moving.
The store manager Heidi was so apologetic and empathetic. I really appreciated that. I waited about an hour and a half for the police but they finally came.
I have always liked this store and it was in good shape that day. I know it’s hard to find people to work. But Heidi is a really great manager. I highly recommend this Dollar General.”

“it's a good place if you don't want to spend a lot of money on simple household items. ie.( suction soap dish, envelopes, plastic cooking utensils , candy , toys, cards for all occasions). Yes, it is cheap quality. Don't expect any of their items to last very long.”
