“This site is so convenient, often finding things that are difficult to find at other stores. I visited on a Sunday, and the aisles were full of incoming stock, with only two staff members in sight. This made it difficult to maneuver through the store, and the 2nd staff was constantly having to stop putting up stock to open a second register. I could not help but recall back when I worked retail under these conditions. It was apparent they were doing the best they could do, focusing on customer service first.”

“In the past this store has been forgotten about or not cared about.. they had no stock people at all only the 1 or 2 regular cashier folks.. there was boxes piled up everywhere and had to be a fire hazard or something..I went into the store today and it was marvelous.. plenty of product on the shelves.. you could easily walk the isles and the a/c was blowing nicely.. I don't know what happens nor why but the difference is night and day.. you don't feel dirty shopping at this location any more..good job. Just to let you know I needed cemetery flowers and the assortment was nice and the one long time cashier was there. She just brightens my day in a hard crusty kind of way.c'c”

“The workers are outstanding, with all the Dollar Generals I've been to when someone is stealing the employees say "Company product isn't worth my life" which is true but they put in zero effort to stop the thieves. At this location when someone is stealing at least one employee chases them down to return the product.”

“This store having so many items at really affordable prices. I paid $1.25 for every item I put in my cart and I believe that's the price for majority of their merchandise. The store was easily navigated with having a decent amount of customers moving in and out of aisles. The employees that I spoke to were pleasant and willing to help with my needs and all of my questions were answered. I'll definitely shop this store again.”

“Pros:- There some not a bad things that you can buy there for a dollar ( like soap, laundry detergent etc). And others.- Some cashiers are friendly and helpful ( especially Aaron).Cons:- Be careful with food especially meat stuff ! Check expiration dates.Recently bought couple sausages, felt bad after eating and tried to return second one. They don't accept returns for food stuff ( for example, Kroger does).- Sometimes it is hard to find something ( ask cashiers).Ps. I'm not so picky customer and don't compare DG with Kroger or Target. Of course, for shopping better to go to target or Kroger, but to survive - DG is ok”

“I have a DG on parsons, one on s high, I live on Groveport /parsons rds. I pass them by to come here coz they have better selection, more of product on shelves, and usually pretty much unpacked and stocked. O, and so far I haven't not been able to use a cart. “Had almost what I needed..except some cleaning stuffs. bleach of all products is gone I some how found a container on an end cap. And only Lysol products they have is wipes. Clorox and Lysol both. And they of course have bigger jugs of cleaning supplies. Purple power and awesome should be efficient enough. Got flooded this past weekend got some clean up stuff to tend too. “Disability Review: All right so I pulled up on a weeknight. There was literally no other cars for customers by the time I began to get out the car, which may take a while, There was about six cars that pulled up all together and since then I have noticed well when I got back in my car there was signs that it had been entered and since then I have noticed some things have come up missing. So just be careful this is a dark area. I don't know how or why that happened but it did. And this annoying message that they have to play in the stores regarding their monitoring of their customers is rather offensive considering these social demographic of the people who shop at the store or are forced to shop at the store because no other good stores are around. So the employee experience was great. The store was clean. It was neat. It was just that mobbing that went on in the parking lot that kind of puts you on edge. So this is just for people who have anxiety issues or disabilities. Not night time for this particular store than just be very careful. It's weird how all these stores have cameras, but the cameras are never positioned so that you can see your own car. They're only position for the benefit of the store in the employees but never for the benefit of the customers safety. Honestly, the whole area is sketchy. When you go down to the Huntington Bank, there's cars just sitting there, hanging out on the bank parking lot in view of capturing your PIN number. Be careful at night in this entire area up to the casino and everywhere around there.”
