“Chris who was cashiering today went truly above and beyond by helping me with balloons for my husband who is currently in the hospital recovering from a stroke and heart attack. She went as far as just curling the ends of the ribbon to make it look good. Coming from gas station manager, and knowing first hand what it’s like to have employees not do more than they need, this was more than I could ask for! Truly appreciated more than you can imagine. Thank you Chris, you truly made my day a little better with your empathy!”
“They offer a wide variety of products, including frozen food, housewares, groceries, cleaning products, craft supplies, hardware, health care items, cleaning supplies, pet food and toys.They have public restrooms and greeting cards and party supplies, and balloons.While inflation makes some items a $1.25, their prices are still lower than regular chains. They offer both name brand and lesser known brands.”
“Nice staff. The only issue I have is I can tell some of the frozen products get thawed and refrozen. (One example is the hot and spicy banquet wings). I think they have a problem with their coolers staying at temp.”

“I had the best end to my work day! I needed to find 15 bags of all different candies and I’m not a sweets person, nor am I up on the latest trends in candy! I had a wonderful man who helped me find everything without me asking and I was so grateful. It would have taken me 30 minutes to find all of these tasty treats…less than 5 minutes and I had everything I needed. I wish I would have got his name. He had an awesome beard and really cool tattoos. Thank you again. There are still good, genuine people in the world.”
“This Dollar General location was huge on the inside. Most DG's I've been in they pack it with so much stuff you can barely walk down an aisle let alone with another person opposite you. They had what I needed. If it wasn't so far I'd make this a normal DG I'd visit.”

“I had never used Marc's pharmacy before. I recently discovered that they carry some medication for pets! When I checked to see if they carried my dog's meds, I was pleasantly surprised that they did! The prices were in my affordability range as well! Thank you, Marc's!”
“Marc's is a NE Ohio fixture. They generally have a good selection of items. Their seasonal clearance section is always fun to peruse--you never know what you'll find in there! Their pricing is competitive. The only downside is that they don't really have a proprietary, off-brand line of groceries, so you pretty much have to buy major brands. Overall, we love having a Marc's right down the road!”
“I frequent this Marcs location often. Service is always good. Tonight was exemplary with the deli. I encountered a newer associate I hadn't met named Julian. He was amazing, he was more than an order taker, he consulted. He recommended different things to me that I ended up purchasing. He may just have given me my best experience in the Marcs deli I've ever had. Make sure that you take care of Julian and don't let him leave he is amazing and an asset to your team. He is the reason that I thought I had to do a rating.”

“The employees were very nice and super helpful. The only drawback to the visit was the cages of inventory all over. Not the staff's fault, I'm sure it's very difficult to try and stock shelves, clean the place and wait on the constant stream of people. Overall not a bad trip.”
“This DG is just a minute away and is my go to when I need random items to stock up. All the cashiers are friendly. Store is almost always cleaned up and has a good variety of products. Overall I have no complaints!”
“This location used to be a disaster years ago. New management has really turned it around. The gals are always so inviting too. The blonde woman running the register told me to be careful going home tonight. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside...I don't have any family around here and that's what they always say to me when I visit.”

“I go to both the 12th Street location as well as the Cleveland Avenue location. The workers are both very nice at both although I know they are overworked and understaffed especially at the 12th Street location. So I appreciate their efforts. I like going there because they accept my insurance monthly food benefits for payment. With not driving they're both easy to get to and make getting needed items between major shopping trips much easier”

“I live 5 hours away from this store but, a gentleman here ran away from his group home. He ended up in Canton. He had no money no food etc. I got him a bus ticket home but he hadn't eaten in days or had his meds. I tried paying for something over the phone which I couldn't do but I spoke with Heather who immediately helped the gentleman! I have prayed for her blessing since. It was above and beyond and more appreciated than anyone could ever know.”
