“Jeff is the best! I took my BMW to the dealership and they told me I would need to replace/rebuild my turbo chargers. They said that was the reason my car was not drive-able. I asked them to just replace the spark plugs and fuel injectors for now. The car was able to be driven again. However, I still had the drivetrain warning. I called Jeff and he explained that I more than likely would not need to replace the turbo chargers. Well, he knew what he was talking about! He fixed my car in a day and my car is driving perfectly fine. No more drivetrain warning or check engine light! Jeff is the best! I will only be taking my car to him from now on. :)”

“Bought a 2018 Toyota Camry 9 months ago and was using the dealership initially for services; until they said my brake pads and rotors needed replaced.. I got a second opinion through Mark and he said I was fine for another 10k miles, my thoughts of the dealership trying to charge me for b.s repairs was confirmed.I will definitely be returning for future services because I trust a mechanic who will be honest with you over making money doing a service that isn't necessary yet. “I've been waiting to review this garage. I wanted to make sure that I put some thought into what I say because people do read reviews on Google and make decisions based off of a collective opinion. I bought an Audi A5 for my daughter when she turned 16 ( pre-owned car) And it's a beautiful car in every way except it seems to drink a little oil. I went to the Audi dealer and they quoted me almost $4,000 to reseal the head on the top of the engine block. They said I needed a timing chain since I was in there and that's why the price was so high. I laughed right out of that dealership, there's such con artists. So I called around and probably the most respected auto shop around here is, Right here in Aurora. I called them and without hesitation they referred me to Smith's import specialists. I asked why, did they not work on these cars? He said of course we do, but this is all they do. And they can do it for a heck of a lot less than we can.I called and said up an appointment, brought the car up there and he gave me a price of $1,500 to replace the timing chain. That's completely unheard of, I thought maybe 2500 or even 3,000. But $1,500, I almost felt bad. Turns out this shop originally opened and exclusively worked on Audis. This is where their expertise comes from, they have every tool that the Audi dealer has, all of the same equipment and diagnostic tools. Except you're not paying them $200 an hour. This guy is far from hurting for business, they're swamped and people wait because not only is he an excellent value, they really know what they're doing. I had them do a bunch of additional work so my bill was ultimately higher, but now my daughter's car is like new.Since then I have brought in other European cars that he has agreed to work on, the owner allowed me to purchase my own rotors, brake pads, and sensors and he did the install. I saved a ridiculous amount of money considered that this particular type of car usually requires the dealer to do it. He changed oil while I was there too. What I can tell you is if you own an Audi or European car, in my opinion, you be crazy to not at least get an estimate from these guys before you take it to another garage or especially the dealer. You'll be glad you did”
