DO NOT USE Altrafiber/Cinci Bell! Crooked backwater business practices. They keep jacking up your rates and will continue to bill you after you have ended your service and turned in your equipment. WORST internet provider I have ever had.

REFUSE TO GIVE YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER TO ANYONE THAT HAS NO BONAFIDE REASON TO ASK! THIS SURELY INCLUDES ALTAFIBER/CINCINNATI BELL.First of all, they seem to waffle about the actual price. But my real issue is that they insist on having my Social Security number. I even offered to give them a cash deposit instead but they were unyielding.I will not provide my SS to anyone unless they are employing me, extending credit or reporting on my earnings. So employers, banks and credit card companies are fine. Internet provider, NO. The reason is because major companies are hacked every year and the more people who have my data, the greater chance that I will have identity theft. JUST SAY NO.

The customer service in this establishment was a top example, of what customer service is about! I felt appreciated and respected. The facility was clean and the other workers were very kind.

The worst customer service of any service provider. You literally have to file an FCC complaint to get someone who knows anything to look at your issue. I suggest anyone that has an issue do this. They are required to respond appropriately and copy the FCC or they will be fined. It’s the only thing they care about.

Ordered home internet, picked up the equipment but had to wait 3 days to get activated. After three days no activation and they told me to schedule a service call for 6 days out. I cancelled my service that day, without ever having been activated, and in still getting billed for service last month. I use T Mobiles home internet gateway with no trouble at all and have been since the day I cancelled your services. Fix it, I don't need to catch a case coming to your offices.

Land lines are totally down, probably from being cut on both sides of the property, elderly couple has no cell phones, they have health issues, but Cincy Bell says they won’t send a tech until 5 days from now! Cincy Bell person’s statement that they’ll send a tech is at odds from their own tech support via text that reads “we see no tech appointment scheduled” !@#! If the residents need life squad, I guess they better sue Cincinnati Bell!!!!

I was hoping to be able to give Cincinnati Bell a negative number of stars but that's not possible. ( Yelp needs to update their rating system because some companies are just that bad.) We have a business line which means we pay more and should be getting faster repairs when things go wrong which they frequently do. We have been told by several CB representatives that they oversold what the equipment can handle and that's the supposed problem. Our internet service is spotty at best. So our services is poor and the customer service is even worse. We don't get expedited repairs; it takes days to get someone out to make the repairs which impacts our business negatively. The service reps often have such heavy accents as to be unintelligible. They promise to call back and sometimes they do but sometimes they don't. They match my local post office for offering poor to non-existent service and yet they bill us as if we are getting decent service. I can't think of one good thing to say about this company.
