“Crafters unite and swap goods they don't need anymore.... Well you donate them and then there are optional donation for picking out items. But if you're a no waste kinda person this is craft thrift heaven”
“We are currently staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati while our son receives treatment at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place.
The experience here has been outstanding. Every single person—staff and volunteers alike—goes above and beyond to support families. What stands out the most is their empathy. They truly understand that every family here is going through an incredibly difficult time, and they treat everyone with genuine kindness and respect.
The food is amazing and thoughtfully prepared, which takes a huge burden off parents who already have so much to manage. The rooms are extremely clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
But more than the amenities, it’s the people who make this place special. Their compassion, warmth, and willingness to help in any way they can make a meaningful difference during such a challenging time.
We are deeply grateful for everything they do.”
“What a beautiful event space. Easy parking, great facilities. The inside is well furnished and Irish decor throughout. The pub makes you think you are in Ireland.”
“This place is an absolute Godsend for teachers! Every time we visit, we are reminded of how much we COULD have spent if we had purchased the items, even if it was at a discount. It’s organized, clean, and friendly.”
“First time visit, already a huge fan. I'm personally a big advocate for finding new or creative ways to give things a second life. Whether it's rebuild or repurpose I try to not let anything go to waste. So for this place to be full of doors, tile, wood, and so much more is just awesome. Thank you to all who donate to such a worthwhile cause.”
“Where do I even begin in sharing all of the incredible impact Focus has had on my life?I attended Focus in '20 with my husband and had very little information about what the exercises were or what I was supposed to learn from the experience. It was challenging, fun, eye-opening (I had no idea how many blind spots I had in my life that were holding me back from better relationships), empowering, and definitely enlightening. Since I didn't know many of the people in my group, I had to learn to become comfortable opening up and leaning in to authenticity, taking off the masks I had worn for a long time as a neurodivergent person in a neurotypical world. Their feedback felt more unbiased than from close family & friends that may have struggled to tell me the hard truths that help me grow. I worked through some issues that had been holding me back for years and found healing and forgiveness in my heart for a lot of hurt in the past. I discovered a community of true friends that are able to help me continue to grow, even 4 years later! I am a more confident and capable woman because of my Focus training. My relationships have improved and I've grown closer to my husband and my family!Don't hesitate to invest in yourself and your future. It's 1000% worth the time and cost!”
“volunteers + staff were so kind when I visited. facility is clean, parking is easy. I picked out one of the shyest cats to adopt! got special instructions from the director, who spent time carefully explaining lots to a first-time cat owner (me). soooo happy to have this lil guy.
OAR’s been around for 25+ years. in 2025, over 10.2K cats spayed or neutered and over 1.2K cats adopted. sooo grateful for this organization!
“Once an OAR cat, always an OAR cat. In other words, if anything happens that prevents adopters from keeping the cats or kittens they adopted from OAR, those cats are always welcomed back.” I’m keeping this cat FOR LIFE. but what a wonderful organization & mission. ??”

“I just wish that instead of saying participants just say adults with different disabilities are enjoying the kaa events. No offense. But i do like going to the kaa events because i have friends there. My favorite events is karaoke, bowling, shopping at kenwood mall and cincinnati museum. Plus flying pig pigabilities. I like to have fun with kaa staff, outing leaders, volunteers and friends.”
“Very nice place. Nice seating with plenty of space for privacy if needed. Friendly and extremely helpful staff. Both on the phone and in person were positive experiences. I really appreciate places like this and didn't know how to navigate the process for someone close to me that needed guidance. They made the process very easy, all that's needed an an ID and to call and schedule and appointment.”

“Dress for Success Cincinnati is a great organization that truly cares about uplifting women.Tracey Zwick and Kate Black are phenomenal. Their programs truly make a difference for women who are trying to improve their lives. Please support Dress for Success with a financial donation, a donation of gently used business casual attire and go out of your way to shop at their boutique Portaluca. By doing so you will make a difference in the life of a woman that they’re able to help through your support. I know because their support made a difference for me.”

“Great management. A lot of moving parts but they make it work and folks are considerate. Everybody is just trying to elevate while not step on toes while they do it. It works as long as there's communication.”
“At the tops of the art shows that I have been to. Flat layout. Lots of parking. Spread out, so you didn’t feel crowded. Great variety of media. High quality. I love talking with all the artists. Grounds are very pretty.”

“I had a dog nuetured and a cat at separate times and both experiences were pleasant. They really have figured out a system to get everyone in and out quickly. My pets both healed quickly after surgery. I take my dog yearly for a heartworm test as well. Most affordable vet care that I can also trust.”
