“Don’t let the small store front fool you! This store packs a punch! New stuff all the time! Sport and non sport cards along with MTG, Pokemon, etc was a pleasant surprise! All toy lines represented and extremely fair!! Got a Hot Toys Joker that’s absolutely amazing for almost 60% retail!”
“Been here several times as a teenager (years ago). Went back today with my preteen daughter, her best friend, and friends mom. We were (loosely) searching for something for my daughter's 6th grade dance. Only planned to spend an hour or so there, but both girls loved exploring both found so many cool things you just can't find anywhere else. Went upstairs to the costumes and they tried on so many dresses. Had a wonderful employee (Jace - I think was his name) help us. Brought them lots of options according to their individual tastes and had endless recommendations on how to make each piece work. This store was such a big part of my high school memories and I was thrilled to share it with my own daughter now that she's nearing that age herself. Not many things I like or suggest really land with my kids these days, but this was absolutely the exception. My daughter, her friend and her friends mom were all delighted at what they found there today in the 3+ hours we spent shopping. We will absolutely be back again. Appreciated so much all the help and kindness from the staff there.”
“Very very 70's. They have almost exclusively pieces from 1970-1990, which are periods I am not particularly interested in, but if you are, then this is your place. One thing, everything is extremely expensive for a store like this.”
“Absolutely phenomenal experience! This was the coolest place for me and my coworker/friend to shop and look at some really cool clothes, I even bought a few items! Pricing is similar to TJ Maxx or Ross for Vintage finds, often designer names.”
“Great spot for finding clothes or accessories with more character and charm than your average charity shop.
Kyle was great and helped my partner and I so much!”
“Lovely shop with even lovelier staff.
Went in looking for accessories for a photoshoot and was almost overwhelmed by the amount of awesome pieces they had. After looking around a while I was approached by a very friendly team member who was super helpful with showing me around (so sorry I didn’t catch your name!)
They helped me to a fitting room and were never overbearing. While there were so many pieces to look at, everything was super well organized. As far as pricing I felt it was very reasonable for a vintage shop.
I would love to go back even if it is not for a photoshoot just to dig around and collect some really cool and unique pieces. They truly have seemingly everything clothes, jewelry, shoes, accessories etc. I will definitely be back.
I see a lot of low reviews mentioning masks being mandated, and I honestly find it odd that people care so much. While I myself was prepared and brought my own mask they provide one for you at the door if you do not have one. I see nothing unreasonable about this and it did not hinder my experience in any way.
Thank you to the staff for the lovely experience, I can’t wait to come back already!”
“I loved my experience here! Marcy was literally the best, and her curation of vintage pieces is phenomenal. This was the best vintage shopping we did in Cincinnati.”
“We had such a pleasant experience at this store! We were greeted as soon and we walked in. The clothes were organized, the inventory was incredible and was so easy to look through and I didn’t think our visit could get any better. And then we met, Jada! Wow, what a sweet soul and so personable! She made us smile and laugh the whole time and was so helpful and patient and took the time to acknowledge my little girl! She’s the type of employee that keeps people coming back! I know we will when we come this way! Thank you, Jada for your kindness! We pray blessings upon you!

“I love legacies! Connie, Teri, and the staff are the sweetest and so helpful. They have a great selection of high quality jewelry, furniture, and I always snag a treasure.”
“Emily is great! I had some jeans that needed a good bit of tailoring and she did a magnificent job! Her turnaround time was reasonable, prices were good, and she was an absolute delight to talk to while we were getting all the pins in. She's my go-to for any alterations.”
“Owners are smart young men trying to make a honest living. Vintage clothes adds a touch that majority of resell stores don't offer. PS5 Tournaments is a great addition to the store atmosphere.”
“Loving it man, I was digging it through some stuff like I need some antennas for my TV. And I got everything I need and the cheat too I went back there 3 times in a row, caught the same bus 30 comfortable seats up and back, oh man.Ooowweee 😍😍😍”
“When my husband’s mother passed away they alway wanted to donate to Salvation Army . Remember them as the only ones who helped families during difficult times . We honored my husbands moms wishes to donate to them . The staff that we meet help with us when delivering large donations.”

“stupid pricey but their sales people are very educated on their products no pressure and pleasure to speak with spend more time educating and selling and that fits my style”
“Love this place. Feels like I'm on a treasure hunt when I shop here. Always surprised by the great things we find here. Parking can be a mess so be patient.”
“This is my favorite once upon a child locations, down to the workers and everything, I buy anf sell here and Natalie sticks out really great here she's always very nice and helpful...they have good lines of clothing and this place things don't stay long the things fly off the racks!!”
“Definitely designed more towards women, but still offers good products and deals for anyone looking for clothing and furnishings (including small ones such as soap dishes for example)”
“I have been meaning to come here for months ever since my very fashionable friend recommended it to me and I am so glad I finally made it! I will definitely be a regular. I came on a Friday and got a TON of great stuff! Their clearance tops that day were marked down to $1, pants were $5, and I think dresses were $8. I got a nice mix of clearance items, non clearance, and activewear. They have a lot of new with tag items.
I try to get rid of things when I buy new stuff so I went home and purged my closet, and ended up bringing back a tote bag (of which they bought about half of) for $40. The next week, I brought back some handbags I had been holding onto for wayyyy too long and got another $100 which was very happy with! These were all things I tried to sell on Poshmark but it's a pain and this was so much easier. They definitely seem to buy trendier items -- I brought in some workwear dresses (even some that were designer with tags) which they did not buy. They also did not buy any of the shoes I brought in so those will go to donation. They are happy to share what they are currently buying, which changes with the seasons.
I also love that they have a 10 day return policy. I misplaced my receipt and they were able to look up the items on my account -- so easy. Brianna helped me each time I was there, she is super nice and helpful!”
“There's always pretty clothes, a variety of styles, and deals to be found at this store. I've had great luck at the location on Dixie Highway and also Hyde park. Check the clearance rack in the back too! That's sometimes where the treasures are hidden!”
“There is a great selection of women's clothing except for jackets and sweatshirts.
The prices have increased in prices of $2 for almost everything. This is happened in Goodwill stores all over the country. In Ohio and Florida, dresses went from $5.99 to $7.99.”
“Always have better luck on the furniture side. They always take most of my items every time I consign. The clothing side feels like a completely different store. The last time I took items I was told they couldn’t take anything.”
“Update: spoke to the manager who was super kind and assured me this is not a typical experience and said that they would make sure this kind of miscommunication doesn’t continue. I imagine working in retail can be a lot some days and that the employee assumed I was being aggressive, hopefully this is a one off experience.
Real mixed bag of an experience when it comes to the employees. The woman working the front desk who appears to be the manager is wildly passive aggressive, but other employees were incredibly very nice and professional. Depending on the moment I either really enjoyed my experience in the store, or was debating starting an argument for how rudely the manager was speaking to both me and the employee.
For example, I asked to take stock of what they bought so I could take it down from Poshmark. The nicer employee offered to help, the manager saw her helping, assumed I was asking for something else (and never bothered confirming or speaking to either of us), ran over and started lecturing the employee and telling me that “if I had a question I should just ask” in a visibly annoyed tone. I’m not sure the last time I’ve ever felt like I was being scolded like a child by a retail employee for just asking to write down something, but it was kind of wild and unnecessary.
Overall the store is clean, styles are decent, and their buy back was reasonable, but sounds like I’m not the only reviewer who has had a less than enjoyable personal experience.”
“I hit the designer fashion jackpot at this place! Multiple designer purses, jeans, jewelry, blouses, all for what I might have paid retail for a purse. The racks are not only arranged by size, but also by clothing type and color. I will definitely go back.”
“Always a full selection. Clothes and shoes are in great condition. Staff is kind and warm. Not like some locations where everyone acts like you're bothering them by shopping there. We make the hour drive and it's well worth it. Thank you all!”
“Plato's Closet is the shop where many things of good quality are sold at a very great deal. Don't miss guys this summer sale. Shoes and dressings are their business”
“I went in for the first time today and honestly i loved it other than the quite small mens section, which i know y'all probably don't get as much mens stuff as womens, i did find a few jems i liked and purchased. And the overall service from employees was wonderful.”
“It has a large selection of used clothing and shoes as to 3x. Inspect often for quality and cleanliness your selection. They don't offer much for buying your items, but it's more than donation. I believe you receive rewards for purchases if you sign up.”
“I was talking with my mom about a woven wood oval laundry basket from my childhood. My parents used it exclusively for laundry. I had asked my mom if they still had theirs (they did not). When you search online, you can find similar but the prices are astronomical. Three days after I had this convo with my mom, I went into this store to just peruse around. I get my tattoos done around the corner and thought this place looked interesting.
After I circled the shop, I ended up finding a duplicate of the basket I had asked my mom about a few days prior. I obviously bought it and I’m so glad I stopped in here. The prices are great and there’s so many nooks and crannies to get lost in. They also have a record collection in the back!
Definitely stop in. You might find a treasure.”
