Like battery candles or all shapes, sizes, glow in dark sticks, fake flowers, etc; those are great , fast pick up. & cheaper than big box stores. & they have tons of balloons to pick from . “This is the first time I've been to the store on Beechmont. It was amazing when I walked in because it's huge. Anyways, I shop clearance and a lot of markdown items because I work for Urgent Care and I like to buy sick kids little goodies. I noticed your clearance items and it had 50% off on top of what they're already marked down so I spent a really good time in that section putting stuff in my basket. I was so excited because I got a lot of stuff for only $10. Amy, who is an employee, is super awesome and nice! My first question was I do get 50% off on top of the already marked down price correct. She did tell me no because the signs aren't down but she will go ahead and give me what I have in my basket since the sign was up. My heart about dropped when she told me no at first because I just spent a really good time going through all that stuff. LOL but she gave me my stuff that I had in my basket and was very nice about it and told me that it's not right to not do it because that's what it says and that's what I saw. Her customer service skills are phenomenal. I will definitely be back, and as matter of fact this will probably be my Dollar General I go to for now on. Thank you so much Amy for your time and generosity Dollar General is very lucky to have an employee like you! Keep up the good work!”

“I walked into this Dolller General on Pippin Road on 11/13/21 the line was very long but I could see that the women checking out people was working both registers checking people out blowing up Balloons for people thanking people for thier patience as I got up to the register she smiled at me and I told her how much I appreciated her being there she smiled and said Thankyou so much for your patience .She was doing a great job getting people checked out. She said she was very grateful for her Job. All I could think was I have been a plant Superviser for 40 years And I was totally impressed. I sure hope that Dollar General on Pippin Road knows how great of an Employee she is I'm not sure what her name was But Im sure they can figure that out She was awesome Best customer service skills”

“Positive: They had my chocolate covered cherries.Negative: The place looked like a mess!Westwood has self-checkout, but the store is a dump.Delhi is all cashiers and slightly less messy.I realize it is lower clientele versus the lack of staffing of underpaid employees, but come on Dollar Tree - have some pride and respect in yourself! If I want clutter and chaos I would raise another teenager.”

“I went into this location at about 5:20-5:25 friday march 25th looking to get soup and crackers because I felt so awful. You had a young woman working here, who may have been the friendliest person I have ever met to work customer service. She was so upbeat and so polite that it almost made me feel well enough to go back to work. I hope she remains at this location, she was a ray of sunshine to even be around. Hope you see this girl, you made my day.”

“Every time I walk into a Dollar Tree, I find things I had no idea would be on the shelves. Surprisingly, it's a little more promising than "you get what you pay for," at the same time of "don't expect too much," but it's all worth the risk...even with the "increase" in pricing to $1.25, lol. I just hate always having to use self checkout...because 7 times out of 10, I can count on breaking the register in a different way, everytime. ??”

“I was pleasantly surprised. I went to buy 20% off giftcards for black friday weekend. This is a cross between big lots and a small gas station store. I like the inexpensive greeting cards for 1 dollar and they are American Greeting. They occasionally have some decent sales on pop or soup. Surprised that they lock up laundry pods. Employees were friendly. They have digital coupons.”

“Just came in on Thanksgiving day and the cashier wearing the shirt that said “savage drip” was showing such a positive attitude toward each customer coming through her line, despite being stuck there on a holiday. I usually have a good experience here, but this one really motivated me to leave a review. I have been to many other locations, but this one seems to really care to do a good job and I hope they are being recognized for that.”

“I don't know why it took so long for the managemnt above the store manger to hire some help for the DG on North Bend and Winton. I know I applied 4 times, I have been in retail management for 24 years and to this day no one has contacted me. I felt so bad for the 2 employees who worked every single day. One opened the store, the other closed it. Yes the store looked like katrina ran through it twice. I had to mountain climb over racks of pet supplies just to get my cats food. on 2 occassions I opened 3 cases of cat food cans and put them on the shelf for them. If I had more time that noght I would of put the entire cart away. They both had to endure rude cistomers bitching about how long it was taking to cash out. One time I got sick of the verbal abuse and said something. This rude old lady called the cashier stupid. She said "this cashier must be LD(learning disablitity) seeing how its taking her so long to cash people out. There was about 8 people in line, it was the 3rd of the month also. I looked at this old lady and said " its people like you that make this worls a really ulgy place. It's the 3rd of the month, people get their social security checks, she is the only employee working and she is doing the best that she can. If you can't wait in line without making rude, abusive comments there is another Dollar General up Galbraith Rd at Colerain. 2 of the people in line clapped their hands. Anyway whatever you have done to the store at winton and north bend, its looking great. Well except the store is still out of power steering fluid and cat nip!!”

“Ok, so after my horrible experience at ACE Hardware I still needed a small flower pot and spray bottle. I saw Dollar Tree and thought I'd see if they could meet my needs and they were able. Ok they lose a star since the store was a bit messy but the people working there were knowledgeable and very helpful. The staff gets 5 stars! If you don't need a shovel try there first!”

“I am just a grateful person. I might see items out of stock or a dirty floor but that doesn't mean it's a bad store. Sometimes they are short handed so I understand when things are not stocked right away. If there is a long line with one cashier, I wait without complaint. No reason to punish by rushing and complaining about a worker for taking care of a group of people. Half are impatient and believe their the center of everything so they say it's poor customer service. Nope, it's poor attitude from the customer. These rude individuals should realize until they can produce the product themselves, they need to be grateful they can even get the items at all. So what if something is not stocked, DT isn't the only option to buy items but they try their best with the little amount of employees they have. Yes, of course the atmosphere must always remain pleasant from the staff but even though people do have their bad days, and yes we all have them every once in a while, doesn't mean the store or staff is in poor shape. I hope they are more understanding towards the staff when shopping, anywhere.”
