Kroger is a large grocery store that offers a wide selection of food and household products from popular brands. Customers can find fresh produce, meats, seafood, dairy, and frozen foods, along with home goods and pharmaceuticals. Many appreciate the store’s extensive variety and the quality of items like chicken and fish, which are fresh and flavorful. The store’s spacious, well-organized layout makes shopping easier, and the pharmacy staff is often noted as friendly and helpful. However, the shopping experience can vary. Some customers mention issues such as fighting through crowds, dealing with begging outside, and difficulty getting carts. Prices are sometimes inconsistent, requiring shoppers to double-check with the store app. The checkout process can be frustrating, with long lines, sometimes rude cashiers, or reliance on self-checkout lanes that may be busy or poorly managed. In some locations, employees are seen operating with a lack of urgency, and the in-store environment may feel unorganized. Despite these challenges, many customers feel a sense of familiarity and loyalty to their local Kroger. They appreciate the larger selection compared to other nearby stores and value the customer service available through phone support for resolving issues. Some customers find the overall experience imperfect but still prefer Kroger over other stores because of its convenience and the availability of essential groceries. Kroger remains a place where people go for groceries, and while the experience may sometimes be hectic, it continues to serve as a reliable source for everyday needs.

It was a nice Kroger. The only thing was they didn't have enough carts.

My grocery cart was half in and half out the exit I was stopped by the security guard cop. He asked to see my receipt barely looked at it.. and release my cart with his magic wand I did not appreciate that at all. I was humiliated and felt profiled. It'll be a while before I go back in there
