The teller at the customer service desk said "I've been here only 10 months and was never given a login to the services" she explained due to this she can't provide basic services.
This of course is poor management

Please see my pictures. Tonight I witnessed dead betta fish in various stages of decomposition and the few tanks with fish had very dead mystery snails, or were so obscured with algae you couldn’t see the fish. I have no complaints about the store otherwise…well one time I was checking out and my then 4 year old was being a goofy dude and the cashier asked if he’d ever been tested. That was so off hand and off base I wasn’t even offended. Anyway, the store is fine. It’s a Meijer. Meijers have been the same unremarkable big box Target-like big box stores since I first encountered them in South Bend, Indiana as a college freshman in 2001. That being said, please please PLEASE don’t sell animals (fish) if you can’t devote resources to their proper care.

Poorly managed store. They were out of a number of regular items. Never been to a Meijer this poorly managed.

I do prefer Meijer over Kroger at Oakley for many reasons!
1. Much easier to get in and out of the parking at Meijer. Very straightforward, and nowhere near as convoluted of a lot as Kroger.
2. Prices are more reasonable.
3. People are very friendly.
4. Not as crowded as Kroger either!! I can get in and out much faster

You DO NOT go onto Findlay at all to enter this property!!! There's a split rail fence around the property green address on the split rail fence, the property is across the street from a white house with a red barn and they have a flag pole with the American flag, turn into gravel driveway!!!

Went here to get a few grocery items. I was with my son and we purchased $60 worth of grocery items. Only one line open in the middle of the day. As we were walking out my cart locks up and I was accused of stealing. What?!?! As the cart locked up I jammed my shoulder into it. Still hurts a couple days later. I should have demanded a manager come out and apologize to us. I was just embarrassed and wanted to get out of there. Person working the front did not say anything except accuse us of getting something from electronics or jewelry. We did not. Ridiculous and Meijer should be ashamed of how they treat a long standing customer who has spent thousands over the years. Definitely never going back to this location and will need to decide if I ever go back.

The only deduction is for their produce, which isn’t as good as Kroger. Everything else is just as competitive and Meijers has much much more than just groceries.

This store has one foot in the grave, and the other on a banana peel. It's not the Meijer from 15yrs ago I tell ya. Bakery & produce are rubbish. Selection sucks. Staff is always helpful & smiling though!

This review is not necessarily indicative of meijer as a whole, but rather my experiences on late Monday evenings at the self checkout stations. There is a woman who normally works there on Monday evenings who often wears her hair in a ponytail and has glasses. I don't often look at name tags but I think her name has a Q in it? Maybe she goes by Ms.? I don't want to be staring at people's names- but she works Monday evenings a lot bc that's when I go to meijer lol.
This delightful person has the most pleasant demeanor of any human being, and she has gone out of her way to help me with my bags one day when I was struggling due to an injury- but I was too stubborn to outwardly ask for help. She is extremely patient and I personally think she deserves a raise. There was another day when I attempted to use the Google Wallet option on my phone for the first time and she asked if I needed any help- I was taking a while and there was a line. I am a very anxious person, and her presence put me at ease for some reason? I explained that I hadn't used it before and I was sorry about holding up the line and she told me not to worry and that I could take my time.
She is consistently very calm and very nice- which can be a hard disposition to maintain in a high customer facing position! All the staff I have encountered are very nice at this location- but special thanks to this particular person for making my shopping experiences very streamlined and stress-free.
