“Our Nissan Rogue was not accelerating correctly. We took it to our regular mechanic who found nothing wrong (but charged us $87 for labor) and said it could be the transmission ($$$). We took it to Cottman in Batavia and they identified the problem as a burned out fuse. They replaced the fuse and didn't even charge us for checking out the car or the fuse. Highly recommend.”

“We found a screw in one of our Jeep Gladiator tires. We had a long drive home to Alabama the next day and didn't want to worry about the tire. Called Xpress Pro Tire & Auto University first thing in the morning. They said to bring it in at 11. They did warn me that it might take an hour or two before they got to the Jeep. I was able to do my computer work in their lobby so I told them time was not an issue. The Jeep went in ~40 minutes later and the tire was fixed within 30 mins+/-. The staff are friendly and the service is great. I would use them again should the need arise when we are visiting family in Cincinnati.”

“Came in late on a weekday after another place told me they couldn’t fix my brakes and to try CarX. I called CarX, and they said they didn’t have anything available today but to bring my car up anyways so they could take a look. It took them less than 10 minutes to figure out what was wrong, and less than 5 to fix it. Highly recommend!!”

“A lot of respect and appreciation for these guys.Two other shops told me my carrier bearing should be replaced. After inspection here they found out that wasn't the problem. Some play but not an immediate issue.It was worse. It was the power divider that needed attention.Leo explained the problem, showed me the magnetic drain plug with a lot of metal on it, and offered options on what to do. Nothing was forced. Basically, leave it or fix it.I opted to fix it. After locating one that could get here the next day, I was given the quote.Not cheap! I called a couple of shops I trust to check on cost. Clarke was a little higher for the part but not outrageous. Plus, I'm here, not at those other places.I asked about other things like u-joints, seals, etc that might need replacing as long as this work was getting done. A yoke and seal were bad. And yes, I decided to replace the carrier bearing that I had already purchased from the dealer. Once done there would be no weak areas.Bearing, yoke, seal were replaced while waiting on the divider. No wasted time!Divider came in and was installed. A team effort start to finish to get the job done. I was told to expect it finished by midnight. It was done by 9.Best part. They lowered the cost of the divider to what the other shops had told me. They didn't know I had called around. They did it on their own! They earned my trust bigtime.Leo, Chris, and shop, thank you for taking real good care of me and my truck.It's good to add a shop I can depend on and that treats me right.BIG THANKS CLARKE POWERThe TV in the lounge has plenty of channels.Comfy couches. “this review is being left because of the friendliness I received over the phone. I have not had work done by this company yet but I called them and explained my situation with my F150 2003 with 130,000 miles as I’ve lost forward gears. They could not give me a quote on a replacement transmission due to the fact that I called late on Saturday but they did say that they would call me back on Monday to give me a quote very pleasant very prompt and they don’t rebuild transmissions but he did give me the name of another company that does do rebuilds which I felt was very nice”

“I took my 2015 Ford Focus to Overbeck Auto to diagnose issues with my purge valve and engine lights. Daryle and the Overbeck team went above and beyond. They ordered the part my car needed and then waited for the vendor to deliver it. Due to traffic they stayed after hours on a Friday evening to make sure it arrived. As soon as it came in they installed the part, test-drove the car and kept me informed throughout the entire process.
They didn’t charge me for the extra time or the additional parts it took to clear the engine codes. They were reliable, thorough, and genuinely compassionate—I truly felt heard and cared for. It’s rare to find an auto shop like that these days. My wife was so impressed with their service that she even baked cookies for me to bring to them!
