Gets worse every time I go. Everyone is so rude and treats me like I am inconveniencing them!

I was hospitalized and suffered many setbacks due to their negligence. In one experience, I sent my nurse aide to pick up a prescription three times before she was finally able to get it. Mind you, she's on the clock and is getting paid to go pick up three scripts and come back with one. They decided it was cheaper over-the-counter and did not fill the prescription; instead, they deactivated it without a word. When I called, they said to send her back. They would help her find the medication on the shelf, but they refused to check if it was in stock or bring it to the pharmacy so she could come through the drive-through. So she went back tech pointed down the aisle and treated her as if she were incompetent for not knowing where to find it. When she mentioned that the information was on the prescription, they falsely claimed it was no longer available for viewing.
After speaking with the manager, I discovered that they were out of stock in the store, and he had one I could buy behind the counter if I sent her back. So I had to send her back to get part of the prescription that they had made their own decision about from the beginning.
When they receive a prescription that they do not have in stock, they ignore it instead of contacting the patient to inform them and order it. If you request any assistance, you are met with pessimistic complaints about how it probably won’t work.
If you are accustomed to other Walgreens pharmacies being helpful—like grabbing you Tylenol or a basic over-the-counter medication when there is no line—you should forget about that here. Fresh out of the hospital you may find yourself struggling to navigate the aisles with your walker or broken foot hoping, dragging a Foley catheter, stuck going in the store, or waiting two hours to place a pickup order just to get Tylenol because they won't sale it to you through the window when you pick up your script. These staff members seem to lack empathy and do not seem to understand that we are patients or that people with disabilities exist. If it doesn’t affect their paycheck, they don't care.
No matter how many setbacks I have had with my health because of their poor service, I had to sit and listen to a pessimistic pharmacist go on and on about how the phone call to my doctor's office would surely be a failure, so I hung up on him. So he called me back and said if you hang up, I'm gonna move all your prescriptions I said well, please do to Optum. He put a nasty message on my chart, making me the problem,, and transferred all my prescriptions to another pharmacy that wasn't of my choice.
Their attitude conveys that they are only willing to do the bare minimum to keep their jobs. Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend this pharmacy to anyone who relies on medications that could significantly impact their health or well-being.
If they want a good pharmacy, they will need to bring in a positive pharmacist who isn't so defensive and who doesn't mind listening to get an understanding. This pharmacist can not take constructive criticism without falling apart. He doesn't have the emotional intelligence to lead. He just likes hearing himself talk about the obvious and how his efforts may not work as if you are looking for some irrational promise.

i made the mistake of asking a Male to offer me assistance. he looked at me like I was an embarrassment, like I had just asked if he wanted me to give him a $5 blowie in the back room. It was a very dirty look.
“Ok…? i’ll be back...” he said, a demeaning and perplexed look etched upon his wretched face.
Well…
He lied.
He left me deserted in the electronic isle for more than 15 minutes. I’m sure I looked like a catatonic schizophrenic, waiting there with a case of beer in my hand, for a man that would never return. I felt played and abandoned as I stood, wishing to be released from the shackles of such a lonely silence. He never came back for me.
But luckily, a nice Female at the register revived my crushed spirit. She was a breath of fresh air that revitalized my desire to live. She restored my hope in humanity, at least a little bit. I will never forget her face. I don’t remember her name, but it doesn’t matter. If I did I would be sure to write it down in my manifestation journal. I wish her everlasting peace and prosperity in this wretched world we are forced to call home.
I will be coming back, but not with a vengeance like I have in the past. I’ve learned from my mistakes. Instead I will return with golden, shining armor, and the homosapien naysayers will see just how superior I am to their incompetent species.
My heart is as forgiving as a spineless tadpole. I always give the benefit of doubt even when I have been wronged; perhaps he was caught off guard that a beautiful woman was speaking to him so casually. Maybe he was just an unsocialized 23 year old that just stepped his foot in the door of human interaction for the first time. Or maybe, just maybe, I reminded him of his dead mother. I will never find these answers, and I am content with that. All that matters is reality. I never perceive anything incorrectly. Never in my life have I ever been in the wrong.
I just hope that he finds this message and learns from his abhorrent behavior. Otherwise, I don’t know what this could mean for humanity as a whole. Have we finally lost the ability to effectively communicate with one another in real life? Has this generation hold any drive to succeed in life at all? Have you no self awareness, lanky bearded man? How will you ever reach your goals with an attitude as foul as yours? These are questions you must ask yourself when you work in the customer service industry, young man. I would take it upon myself to become your superior if only it meant you would learn from the mistakes you’ve made in the past. I will pray for you, as well as that kind woman who in the end, was the one to assist me. I pray that she never encounters the likes of you again.
Good day.
Joan Armstrong.
By the way, I almost hit a cyclist on my way out because of how awfully this location has been placed. I know i’m not the only one who has a problem here, the townspeople tend to chatter quite a bit about this Walgreens. Location.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever encountered in my life. For several years i have tried to give them the benefit of doubt, but no. There is some kind of issue EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Your supposed to dispense the pills not take them until you cant read. Any positive reviews have to be by employees or friends of.

Use automated system to order a partial refill of a script on a Wednesday. It asks if 11 AM on Friday is okay? I say no, I need it earlier, I'm going to run out. It says script will be ready by 11 on Thursday. I end up not being able to pick it up till Friday after 11 anyway, so I try calling ahead to make sure it's ready. Get the automated system again, which says it's ready. Go to pick it up: it's not ready. I'm told it'll be 15 minutes, as I'm running late to a meeting. Got the partial script refilled, but not without a tremendous amount of unnecessary headache. Why didn't they just fill the whole script to begin with? Mind-boggling. Do better Walgreens

The wait is ridiculous when your physician send the scripts in, I go grocery shopping, lunch and drive to Walgreens and she tells me its not ready and the wait is 2 hours. What? Then she says we don't have one???? Customer service is not good!!!

I was at the Photo counter just picking up photos. The manager seemed very bothered that she had to wait on me. She was on her phone when she waited on me. She had to change the paper on the machine and that made it worse. Terrible customer service.

They are always courteous and answer their phone at the pharmacy. Something CVS does not do! Keep up the good customer service!

I transferred ALL my prescriptions to a different Walgreens ! Jenny is the rudest person I have ever dealt with. Her customer service skills cost Walgreens a customer that has over a 1000.00 worth of prescriptions a month. Go to lunch Jenny. I just shut the door on you this time

Pharmacy today was horrible. The attendant saw us waiting and didn't have the decency to speak to us and at least say, someone or will be with you shortly. I ended up walking away without being attended to, I was at the counter in front next in line. Horrible. CVS didn't treat me like this. Thanks Walgreens
