unethical, Unprofessional, shady.I was in a horrible hail and windstorm last July - had photos and videos of my vehicle working fine as I was pulled over on the side of the toas sending to my kids.debris, branches, trees and hail were flying at my car.I went to avoid a tree falling on my vehicle and hit the ditch hard. my dog flew to the front and a screwdriver flew from the back and punctured my skin.I heard a boom under my vehicle when I hit the ditch.to this very day, Bristol West, under the Farmers Insurance Insurance Company, will not cover my accident and shifts me around, doesn’t reply and won’t accept any responsibility, trying to claim it was prior damage!!!! do not - I repeat DO NOT insure your vehicle with Bristol West! worst insurance company I have ever seen--

Terrible! Worst experience ever! My husband and I had auto insurance as family for 2 cars. Then my husband’s car’s engine was broken. Bristol West said that ‘’ we don’t have coverage for mechanics, engine.’’ So, he has cancelled the his car insurance on 01/31/2024. Now, just I have insurance from Bristol West. But next month, company has charged full amount from me on 02/12/2024. I asked them for a return which is already cancelled car. They said NO! They couldn’t make adjustments and apologized! What??!! Are you kidding me? Why I am paying for already cancelled car insurance which is we don’t drive. This company is a joke. If I knew, I would never paid them. I will cancel all the my policy immediately. Stay away!

If I could go lower on my rate I would, they keep Raising my rate and every 6 months. Definitely not renewing with them worse insurance ever!!!!!

Would not do business with this company, they have charged me extra money for a policy error on their behalf, when I asked the representative what bristols policy was she said "what" she didn't know their policy or that they were violating their own policies.

I have had the worst of worst experiences of my life with Bristol West. I would love to give them a zero. It’s been so much confusion on my policy that is crazy. I don’t even know where to begin… if you are considering them run. I don’t even have the energy to type all the concerns and wrongs they have done. I feel like all the reps hate their job and truly do not have any qualifications to answer any questions you ask. They can’t even explain the inflation of auto insurance from their company. They raise the price whenever they feel like it.

I canceled my policy 1/18 with Bristol; signed and submitted my cancelation documents. I was then charged the full amount 1/28/2024, stating my policy was still active. I called customer service (which is awful and unsupportive), they claimed I never canceled and they have no documentation to prove it. I immediately forwarded the documents they already should have had and the rep told me to just 'reply back in 30 minutes, asking for an update’ then she hung up. I then called another insurance rep, JR, who is the only person out of that entire company that knows what he’s doing. He then contacted the insurance, taking over an hour to get ahold of them, and pushed my cancelation through. HOWEVER, I have replied multiple times to that email and still have not heard back with any confirmation of canceling nor regarding a refund. It has been days and I still have not heard back nor received a refund. This company is COMPLETELY unethical and deserves less than the 2.1 stars they currently have. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I moved insurances that offers more coverage and I am now paying over $220 LESS.

..EYE..THE WORST COMPANY THAT CAN EXIST, some real scammers, please whoever sees this review, do not hire these criminals..They are going to deceive you when it comes to resolving you, they will not appear and if you manage to communicate with them they will give you long and long until you get tired.

If I can do a half star, I would. My husband had an accident back on Dec 12th!! We have been waiting since then for someone to call us. Kailyn Blacks reached out once, had to leave a message because my husband is a third shifter, after many of our calls out to her being unsuccessfully handled. After her voicemail, we have tried calling and leaving messages and nothing has been resolved or even STARTED. Meanwhile, the damage caused by their insured customer is causing water damage to the inside of the vehicle. Who is her manager? Because no one is returning our calls. What kind of business is handled this way? I would not recommend this agency.Don't waste your money with Bristol West!

Just got off the phone with a supervisor and literally heard chickens in the background. Outsourcing reps from the Philippines to save money = poor customer service. Placed on hold several times so she could get help to answer questions.

Worst insurance company ever. Representatives cannot even answer simple policy questions. When I called I specifically asked about no deductible on glass and was told that there wouldn't be one. When I had to file a claim I was told it wasn't covered as the cost was less than my deductible. By law insurance providers in my state are required to have a $0 deductible glass option. Keep getting the run around when I call to get this straightened out as it seems to always be someone else's department. Will be filing complaints with attorney general and better business bureau
