I got a car from another location and when I got I the highway the car started shaking, so I came to this location to exchange for another car. The new car I got is much better. The employees here don’t wear any cloth with company logo on, so a lot of consumers including me have no idea who work here or not. The employees at the parking lot is cool, the guy in the terminal counter seems kinda sad.

Hi i rented a car from budget i started to have problems with it on the first day. I alerted budget to its misfiring when i go over 30 miles a hour. They told me that i had to go to the original budget that i got the car from. I went there and told the person that the car was misfiring going over 30 miles a hour. He told use in a nonchalant attitude that they did not have anymore vehicles. We asked if we brought it back in the morning for another he said there no telling if they will have the same car in the morning. He had a i dont care attitude. If you tell the rental service that your car is misfiring while u driving it you think that they would switch it but no he late use leave with the broken car. Sad on budget and its lack of safety.Guy that worked overnight has a terrible personality. Arrived there at 6:20pm.Got a response from there customer services.I am sorry that you were given a vehicle that had an engine misfire at higher speeds. If you still need to do an exchange please go to an airport location where they have more cars available to do the exchange. We picked up a Nissan rogue with 22k miles. The rear tires were bald. The car on wet roads was hydroplaning. The threat of an accident was real. The car was dangerous. We had to stop 45 minutes into our trip to get a new car.

Being a long time customer of Priceline, my past two experiences have left me questioning whether further business with them is worth conducting. I recently rented a vehicle through Priceline, and paid for the insurance through Priceline, all while using a Priceline credit card. Upon returning the rental car I was e-mailed a receipt from Budget Rental Car Company with new charges to my Priceline credit card. Calling Priceline, I was met with an unhelpful and distant approach. I was told that the charges were due to the car’s gas tank not being returned full. At that point there was no further recourse offered. I contacted Budget Rental Car Company myself and offered to e-mail a copy of my receipt for the gas that I had filled it with just before returning the vehicle, and an image of the gas gauge, mileage, and time when the vehicle was returned. Budget Rental Car Company agreed that there was a disconnect somewhere and offered to void the charge for the gasoline refueling. The next day I received another e-mail from Budget Rental Car Company for charges that were detailed out as CUSTOMER FACILITY CHG, TRANSPORTATION FEE, ENERGY RECOVERY FEE, VEH LIC FEE, TAX 8.000%. I called Priceline to discuss why I was being charged for these items, and how they compared to the taxes that I had already paid. Again their customer service fell short. The told me that they could not see what charges I was being charged and they could not facilitate any type of resolution on my behalf. Instead they called Budget Rental Car Company, connected me with them, and left the call.It’s now been 10 days since the rental occurred, and while Budget Rental Car Company has voided the gas charge, they don’t feel that they can void the taxes charged. Upon questioning why someone should have to pay taxes with out purchasing anything further, they were not able to answer that, aside for stating ‘well everyone has to pay taxes, that’s not something that can be discounted or voided.’Moving forward I will be renting vehicles directly from rental car companies, and looking further into modern options like Turo. Thank you for driving me away, maybe this is the push I needed.

Rental cars are off-site.Fast break is broken. Had to go back inside to get my car. Took a lot longer than it should have.Then I was given a car with what sounded like tires that had a slipped belt in the tread. Only keeping it for 2 days so I will live with it.

Budget is right you will get a great car in the budget. You will find whatever you need here in car wise of course so go ahead and book or if they aren't busy tou can do a walk in

I recently had my best experience with Budget due to a change they made, previously the process to pick up your car, at least in Cleveland was horrible. Waiting once 45, minutes, another time 50 and a full hour on another occasion. This time was different! I pre-paid for my rental, received a discount for that. When I landed in Cleveland there was a text from Budget telling me to go to area 1, pick out my car. There were about a dozen vehicles to choose from, picked a Mazda SUV, the link in the text said take a picture of the license plate, that was it! Loaded my luggage, adjusted the seat and mirrors, took less than 10 seconds to clear the security booth. Was an amazing use of technology. My rating for picking up a car from Budget used to be a 1 out of 10. Now I give it a 10!

Received a late fee for no apparent reason. Otherwise, service was fine.Edit: After leaving above review/answering their survey about my rental experience, they immediately remedied the issue and refunded the late fee. I appreciate their service so I have changed it from 1 star to 5 stars.

We waited for 30 minutes (no line in front of us) for the clerk to assign our rental car. When we went to the spot the car was supposed to be it was empty. We walked back to the counter and waited another 30 minutes to be assigned another car. We went to the same spot and a car was there. However, it had not been cleaned. I have pictures I'd like to send to prove that the car still had garbage, crumbs, etc. in it. Also, the front driver and passenger window had an adhesive film on it that made it difficult to see out of the windows. It appeared the previous driver had installed a film on each window. We were already late to our destination so did not go back to the counter to complain. Upon arrival we stopped at a Kroger's and purchased goo gone to clean the windows. I ended up injuring my left thumb during this cleaning process. Another point we'd like to add... upon exiting the parking lot at the Cleveland airport the signage to exit was not clear and cones were blocking the exit. The arrows on the ground pointed one way so you had to go against the one way arrow to exit. Overall, it was a horrible experience and we don't plan on using budget ever again. And it wasn't even a budget price! Budget used to be known for providing quality, clean, low cost rentals. We paid Avis or Hertz prices for a dirty car with windows you could not see out of and we waited an hour just to get out of there when there were zero people in front of us!!

Budget Car Rental - Cleveland Airport! We had a great experience at the rental desk with Raphael Diez! He took care of me promptly, professionally and personally.I was back at the airport for an unexpected event with my initial vehicle, both rear tires needed air adjustment. I guess the summer air couldn't handle the cold weather. : )He helped me get into a new extended rental agreement in a loaded, larger vehicle. I'll now have room & the additional time needed to meet the driving needs of my family.By the way, as he worked with me, another customer, a happy, boisterous lady, yelled on her rushed passing into the airport: 'Thank you Raphael, the car was great.'Raphael Diez finished our time together: Make it a great day!!!Yes, thank you Raphael. It was a great day, sorting out my car rental with you. And some special important days in the near future will be easier in this fantastic vehicle you made possible..

My rental vehicle was cheap and noisy, Maintenace light turned on a few hours after I left with the vehicle and remained on the entire time but I was not able to switch out for a new vehicle due to limited inventory which left me concerned the entire trip. Although it was a newer vehicle (2023 RAV4) it was uncomfortable and dirty. Fast track service, which I am a member of, was also not available at the Cleveland Ohio location and the line was very long. Only bright spot were the counter agents who were very professional. Thank you.

Easy pick up and return. The car was great. The price was very good. All staff at the Cleveland airport Budget were very nice and helpful. I like that you have a “guide” in the lot advising which cars you could choose from.I would definitely use Budget again.The only negative issue is the signage where you return the vehicle. I circled the rental car return area once as I could not locate the Budget return gate, until I realized that Avis/Budget were the same. A LARGER Budget sign at that return gate would be great!

I was given a rental car with both front tyres completely worn out and the tyre iron coming out! I risked my family's lifes driving this car. This is unacceptable!
