I want to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Johnson and the entire staff at Banfield Pet Hospital inside the PetSmart on Glenway. We recently had to make the incredibly difficult decision to euthanize our beloved 14-year-old dog, Carter. From the moment we walked in, the team displayed extraordinary compassion and empathy.
Dr. Johnson's gentle and understanding approach made a devastating situation slightly more bearable. She allowed me to stay with Carter until he peacefully fell asleep, providing comfort to both him and me. While I couldn't bear to witness the final moments of the euthanization, I know that Carter was treated with the utmost respect and care.
Carter was a cherished member of our family for 12 years, and the void he's left is immense. The staff at Banfield truly understood the depth of our loss, and their kindness was invaluable during this painful time.
While the loss is profound and I've decided not to adopt another pet, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Johnson and the Banfield team on Glenway to anyone seeking compassionate and professional veterinary care. “They have all of your pet needs. The workers are friendly and prices on many items are very competitive. They offer vaccine services for pets each month and the veterinary staff is wonderful. Also you can bring your pet which makes the trip more exciting. The only issue I found was that all of the the many plants they had for sell were severely not taken care of and were lacking water. To the point I didn't want to purchase any of their vegetable plants that they had for sale. That was a shame..”
