“Was real clean inside and parking was good with a lot room to get in and out of store.There was two women working when i visited store they was both why i was checkout and store was real clean and fully stocked with items and snacks all the machines was well keep and cleaned which was nice to see yep i stop here again while travel in area if they keep it like that all time and good friendly workers that talk to and don't ingore you why check out they both ask me if i found everything i was looking for and one was cleaning around machines even ask me if i need help with machine and if they had what i wanted drink and stuff which was awesome and fountain drink i got was real good and tasted real good like it came right out home fridge and good real cold for a fountain drink.”

“Like most convenience stores and gas stations, it is well designed for quick in and out.Not the cleanest you will ever see, but they are definitely trying. High customer volume makes that difficult with limited staff.Generally well stocked.Their "Speedy Rewards" loyalty program is one of the best, including fuel discounts.”
“The workers here are always pleasant every time my husband and I come in, we’re regulars here and always come here for gas and cigarettes as they usually have the best prices and deals in our area. They sometimes have deals on our preferred energy drink, cigarettes and gas.
It can get quite busy here at certain times of the day, early mornings, lunchtime, and in the evening time, and it can be somewhat of a headache trying to get gas, or you may have to stand in line for a few minutes.
It’s the only gas station we know of that offers E85 gas as well, but they only have one pump that offers it (on both sides), but you have to sometimes wait for someone to move from that pump to access it.”

“Great place to stop early in the morning before heading to work. The manager is fantastic—very personable—and it shows in how well the staff is managed. You can tell there's strong local leadership here.
The only downside to this location (and many others in the area) is the volume of the music. It's not about the genre—that's subjective—but the sheer loudness makes it nearly impossible to have a conversation with someone in an aisle.”

“Penningtons is the only grocery store in our small town of Flatwoods Ky. So some residents go to the store multiple times a week or sometimes more than once in a day. I do wish they would be a little more considerate when hiring Cashiers because not only did I have a bad experience with an employee recently, my husband and my parents have all had a bad encounter with a new employee. On three separate occasions. She has blonde long hair and she's really a beautiful girl.... Until she has to do her job and then she shows an ugly, impatient side and if not for the Man over this store being Such an Awesome, trustworthy and reliable person, I may not have gone back. She looked at me and rolled her eyes at the elderly lady ahead of me for taking a little longer than most people, as if I was going to agree with that type of behavior. She did the same exact thing to me when I needed to put my phone number in to use my account points.”

“My cousin suggested this carryout as it was near her house. The staff was friendly. The shelves we're well stocked. The beer was cold and reasonably priced. I will visit again when I'm in Ironton. Well the footer says" this review is currently shorter than most" So I'll try to come up with something useful to add. Oh I've got it. They have a drive thru. I can't rate it as I walked in. Which leads me to add, they also have a small parking lot.”

“Don’t know anything about this place. We stopped for gas after I got out of the hospital for a couple of weeks. Someone came out with Baskin-Robbin’s which was delicious. Other than that I couldn’t tell you the first thing about it”

“I like speedway. The park Avenue speedway is my go to gas station. I Usually fill my car up there. It’s next to the highway and it’s also on the main Avenue for the town of Ironton. It’s always clean and the staff are always friendly. Plus, they sell lottery tickets!”
“We were on our way home today from Lexington and stopped for gas. This was the cleanest gas station I’ve ever seen. All of the staff were very nice and helpful. The manager, especially, went out of her way to be kind and take time to get our pizza made and ready in the most efficient way. It was the delicious! Best pizza ever. We will always stop here on our trips to and from Lexington!!! I give it 5 stars”

“Great place to get truck fuel and def, kinda old and run down a little but they keep it as clean as they can. Always had GREAT service here and I stop twice a week for fuel and def. Not a coffee drinker but it always smells good and fresh.”
