“I had an opal replaced in a ring I received for my 16th birthday in 1968. It was originally purchased at the Diamond Cellar in downtown Columbus. Unfortunately, the opal had cracked when I dropped the ring. I wanted to keep the original setting because it was so lovely. They helped me pick out a beautiful new opal and were able to do that for me. I wanted to cry when I saw it. It's such a treasure. I would highly recommend Jeff Johnson and Co. I can't thank them enough.”

07/26/2025 - Before visiting Star Jewelers, I called them about some items I needed repairs for. The staff member requested I visit their location for a consultation. Once I arrived, I was welcomed into their modern chic space. They have contemporary secured encasements for their jewelry. You have to be buzzed into the business I presented my pieces that needed cleaned, that needed repairs, and a wrist watch that needed new batteries. I was informed that the work can be completed in a week or two and that I would receive a call. On this day, I met one of the owners who fixed and cleaned one of the pieces on the spot. Thank you. Also, thank you to Becky. Limited and tight parking out front for a fee. Nearby street parking also for a fee, and also nearby parking garage for a fee. Prices contingent on the service requested.”
“I have bought a lot of jewelry that this location and they have an actual bench jeweler who will fix your jewelry or even make custom jewelry including grills rings and pendants. I like it because you can go in there and you're not going to pay huge margins or markups like you would at a jewelry store. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I have been in there multiple times they are also a pawn shop but also note that this is the central jewelry hub related to EZ Cash pawn locations so they mainly only sell like designer items, jewelry, electronics and guns. I would highly recommend the bench jeweler his name is Mosley and they do not charge anything near what a jewelry chain like Kay Jewelers or other chain jewelry. The reason I say this is because I paid like 80 bucks to get a ring fixed that would have cost me hundreds of dollars to send out a jewelry store.”
“We had such a great experience with Travis at Kay Jewelers in Easton! We went in just looking for earrings and ended up getting earrings, a new wedding band for my husband, and a new chain. We weren’t exactly sure what we wanted, but Travis was so kind, patient, and helpful, especially with our infant children with us. He answered all of our questions and even helped us after we left when my husband was second-guessing his ring. He truly went above and beyond! Highly recommend Travis!”
