Huge thanks to BEN S!! He took the time to manage my account! Disputes, phone calls, I think I cried once. Ben eased my anxiety, and helped fix my checking account! He is wonderful and so are the other customer service employees that take the 800 calls! Thank you!

Probably the most unprofessionally managed bank I’ve been to. This bank isn’t what it used to be. Management used to be a lot better. Other service employees are great. Last couple times I’ve been here, manager refused to help when tellers were busy. Stayed in his office entire time. Same for the other day. An employee asked the manager for help, he said “no.”

The ATMs have about a 75% chance of being down. I remember driving from the Graceland location to 161, both were down. App and website constantly down as well. Unbelievable that this is even legal for a bank.

The people at the Graceland branch are the most incompetent people I’ve ever seen. I do not recommend this bank but especially the Graceland branch. It’s very frustrating when people make things difficult because they are clueless and have no common sense. And frankly don’t care. They don’t care to help or do their job. Ben is always rude and seems so put out, I have no idea why he works there. I would give zero stars.

I have been with first merchants bank for nearly 10 years now. I always use this High st. location. I am usually helped by a younger african american CSR. He is always pleasant and helpful. Super friendly. The last few times i have come through the drive thru Ben a taller bald white man has been very rude and inconvenienedto take care of me. He never says hello or thank you or goodbye. He does the bare minimum with attitude. Sends the receipt back with no response or anything not even a thank you or goodbye, just walks away.I wasnt aware my deposit was so difficult. This has happened 3 times with this CSR. Its so bad I always hope its not him when i pull up. He needs some serious work on his customer service skills. Thats my feedback. Maybe its just me, but wow, he is so rude and inconvenienced. Clearly he hates his job ,but dont take it out on your long term customers. Thank you. Gave a 3 star cuz normally i love the staff here.

I've been with First Merchants since they were CS Bank. They've been okay, except for reducing their lobby hours and their ATMs are constantly out of service (like 30% of the time). Then last night, their ATM ate a cash deposit I was trying to make. "We were unable to count your cash. We are also unable to return it to you. Please contact your financial institution." Today I had to drive back to branch to open a dispute, and hope that their dispute center rules in my favor. No recompense was offered, for my time or potentially losing the money I was trying to deposit. My days at First Merchants are over. They will never get my business again.

I have been with First Merchants for many years now. Have several accounts and a loan with them. They are friendly, outgoing, personable, great at communicating with me, and they have assisted with so many of my goals throughout the years! They are a great resource to me and I would recommend them to anyone! Graceland is my preferred branch =)

i have 2 personal and 1 business account threw this bank went into graceland location 12/20 or 21 of 2018 to order more business checks as i ran out simple enough they say ordered. i call monday January 7th the lady said let her check after a few mins comes back i told her the day the were ordered she checks again said keep your eye out they should be there within a few days come friday the 11th my partner goes into sawmill location and finds out they were never ordered. so the rush deliver we have to pay $30 extra bc bank doesnt comp it then today 1/16/19 we get checks i try to pay myself for the 1st time in a month and the checks are duplicate of previous checks and cant be used. I WILL BE CLOSING ALL MY ACCOUNTS STAY AWAY
