Half Price Books is an excellent place to find a wide selection of hard-to-find books, all media, Blu-rays, DVDs, manga, tabletop games, card games, video games, and some displayable figures. Items are mostly used but some new, often for less than half price. Prices seem fair overall. The staff is friendly and amazing, offering help beyond expectations. They provide fast processing when buying second hand books and assist with loading. Currently, buying from the public has limited hours and quantity restrictions of 3 bags or 2 medium boxes. While trade-in prices are described as abysmal, they will take most items to clear stuff out.
One of my favorite chains of stores! I love just going in and wandering. I'm always sure to find more than I need 😁 I love the options other than just books... games, movies, music, etc.
