“02/24/2026 - First time visiting Clintonville Books for the book release of Strange Animals by Jarod K. Anderson. Clintonville Books offer a variety of books for all ages. They have an eclectic collection of books from different genres. Modern decor and captivating display set ups while walking through the book store for your next read. They also offer merch, books clubs, book events, and other events that involve communities. The night of the book release event I attended, the manager Tracy was friendly, informative, and an amazing host. Thank you. Street parking available. Prices contingent on your items purchased. “Prologue Bookshop in the Short North Arts District of Columbus, Ohio is one of my favorite independent bookstores in the city. It’s a beautifully curated local bookshop with a thoughtful selection of new releases, literary fiction, nonfiction, and staff picks. I actually prefer it over larger bookstores like The Book Loft. While The Book Loft is a destination in itself, Prologue’s edited, well-chosen selection feels much more manageable and less overwhelming, which makes browsing such a joy.
The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help you find your next great read. They host select author events and book clubs throughout the year, and they’re moving just a bit farther south on High Street soon, which is exciting to see as they continue to grow. If you’re looking for a cozy, curated indie bookstore in the Short North or Columbus area, Prologue Bookshop is absolutely worth visiting.”
“I grew up going to the original Cover to Cover across from Clinton Elementary, then watched as it grew through the years. I don’t have kids, so I don’t have occasion to stop by very often, but we love going every year on Independent Bookstore Day to see what’s new! The current Upper Arlington space is lovely- cozy and inviting with an excellent assortment for kids of all ages and helpful staff who can assist even the most clueless adults with selecting the perfect gift.”
“They now have books other than their own imprint’s offerings, which has broadened the selection considerably. Not that they didn’t already have great titles, but it’s nice to have an excuse to browse more often!”

“Always a great experience going to this bookstore. As you walk in, you are absorbed in books. With no other options, besides online shopping, this is the place to go to. They’ve kept up their reputation and inventory. As long as there are still readers, this place should continue to thrive.”

“Well laid out brick and mortar bookstore. Helpful staff and a wide selection to choose from in each of the subject areas.
There is a very large children's section, a good selection of educational games and toys for kids, and some good adult board games.
There is also a good bargain area, though when I was in there last there seemed to be an over-abundance of coffee table books.”
“Great but WARNING, IF YOU PARK IN THR PARKING LOT, PAY FOR PARKING OR YOU WILL GET A $20 TICKET. Other than that, I love this barns n noble! Especially the kids area”

“A very different type of book store, which is great! If you are a person who enjoys browsing old books (the old book smell is imaculate), this is the store for you! Karen is wonderful and also has great stories to share. Keep in mind, they do not accept card, so be sure to bring cash! (But she will hold books for you if you need to come back to pay)”
“We visited in July of 2023. This place is now selling all kinds of Islamic items. They have a variety of hijabs, abayas, for children and women. They have thobes and all kinds of men clothing. They also have prayer rugs, perfumes, shoes, etc. This plane remind me of the former Global Mall because there were more than one shop or boutique by different vendors and owners.”

“Excellent atmosphere with a large variety of books. Things are organized and maps are available to help you from getting lost. If you go in the heart of summer you may want to be mindful that is hard to cool a building that size. They do have periodic fans placed throughout to help.”
