I wouldn't recommend this place at all. We were going for a HELOC loan and gave them the information they needed. Well, they ended up putting a car loan that has lower interest of 6.5 % rate onto it when we requested the loan not to be placed onto a 8.5% interest. But the person ended up putting it on there and and skimmed right past it during the signing period. Why would we want to pay more money? Like come on. Yes we should have read closer and not trust the crooked person filing it for us.Literally ruined our house improvement plans and now forces us to quickly pay a higher loan for our car. So... don't use them at all especially if you are new to doing these types of loans. This has been an awful experience and just dishonest people trying to make extra cash off of you and give you a run around to try to fix the situation.

Worst CU ever. Their iPad/iPhone app is horrible a 10 year old could do better. Terrible customer service no one to talk to. Only a computer monitor. Would rather trust my $$ with Art Schlichter.I’m gone from this place Jan 2024. Thank god.

My fiance took out a car loan late last year. He did not begin paying the loan for 2 months, during which Kemba tacked on a $65 charge which he did not request for loan ins. When he called, they said they could remove any new charges but not on the first 2 months ov the loan payment. Now they are requesting proof of Ins. He has sent in 3 copies and one was sent by the ins agent. They keep sending ltrs for 3 mknths saying still not recd and finally tack on $90 monthly charge for havjng no ins. After 2 visits to the Grove city oh office, someone there fjnally figured out what went wrong. They had a different vin number than was on the ins copies. No one Indicated this in the letters. Find out it was their error and agreed to remove the charge. But, not done yet...my fiance checked the balance on the previous months bill and those sly devils still had the amout included in yhe principal and only subtracted it from the current months amt. So, now he will be paying it throughout the life of the loan. HELL NO. When he is able to refinance through another bank, he will tell Kemba to shove their business.

I went to close my account because I didn’t need it anymore, when asked why I said I have PNC Bank and is everywhere. Well a pretty arrogant woman named Hanna maybe bothered by my comment closed the account and gave me a check for whatever small amount I had left there.This arrogant woman told me now you can deposit it on PNC with attitude. Very glad I closed my account with Kemba Financial. Very nice way to do business they have. It is the Hilliard branch the problem, both customer service on the phone, and the Grove City branch are nice.

What a waste. If I wanted to talk to a computer screen I'd stay home. The fact that you have to scan my ID is very unsettling. This location won't last long.

Worst credit union in Columbus area. Closed all there tellers to replace them with "interactive atm tellers" that are borderline useless. They dont work half the time and when they do there is a line a mile long. Im trading my truck in early just to be done with them.

I been with KEMBA for years I recently made a purchase for a brand new truck and have been in the middle of switching insurance providers …I’m the annoying customer that will call several times with questions and my guy Bryon at KEMBA makes me feel valued and personable and brakes down all my questions and helps me understand everything I need to know as far as what I need and information on the app I have called the last couple of days and I keep getting bryon I have always liked KEMBA I think KEMBA is a great company but bryon makes KEMBA even better than it already is I don’t feel like a number to KEMBA i feel like a valued customer and feel like you guys are my friends trying to look out for me thank you KEMBA for going above and beyond

Lee, as soon as I walked in the door this young man handsome as he is was extremely helpful I've been going to the Grove City Kimba for years and he was the first to tell me that the change machine does not charge me as I thought that it did. There was a woman who was doing her business of course at the window that they have inside temporarily and complaining about people hearing her business and seeing what she's doing the whole line of people behind me and I waited for quite some time I would say 10 to 15 minutes for her to handle her business which was really all deposits. Lee finished up what he was doing and then I asked him if he could kindly just take my change receipt and put that money into my bank account showed him my ID he said absolutely yes I am so very thankful for that that exactly is what person to person business to business does that's what we call helpful in this world it's sad that many more places are not just that simplified and friendly. However the lady at the machine I shared with her that she can make her deposits via the ATM in privacy and no one would ever know she would have to say a word Not only would that save people that need to go into the bank time but it would help her as well and anyone else that needs to make a deposit you can go through the ATM put your bank card in and make you deposit it's simple I do it all the time I love what Kemba is doing with their branches. To the lovely lady at the kiosk I was not trying to be rude just trying to help you out kindly

My issue with this place is.... I come on a Saturday to make a payment as I do every month. The inside is closed. Only drive thru available. Yet, there is ALWAYS only 1 lane open. And it's constantly a line of 7 or more cars. Saturday is when people who can't make it to the bank during the week, make their bank runs. And I sit here for almost an hour to make a payment. As a customer, our time is valuable. Please add more tellers.

This is by far the worst bank I have ever had a car loan through. I got a car in March called to make payment arrangements for my payment to automatically come out of my account. No payment came out called and talked to a rep and they said it would come out that day and it came out the next day double payment 800.00. About a week later I had a rep call me and say this is a courtesy call we haven't received your payment yet. Then I gave them my insurance info and same with the dealer that i bought the car from. Get a letter in the mail saying I don't have car insurance. These reps need to be trained longer or need to be let go they have no idea what they are doing. .

I'm had an appointment scheduled at 12. Once I arrived I waited for 30 minutes and still wasn't seen. If I wasn't black I think I would've received the service I needed. Just sad!

Tired tiredWhy is Kemba like this?There is something very clearly wrong with your ACH system whenever a payment date change is effected because it charged me twice.Now I’m being charged an overdraft fee with my other institution because of Kemba’s incompetence.This has has opened to me a third time in the 3 years I have been with Kemba.And why do I have to take the hit of $34?!And now your agent says it is not your error.Then whose error is it?

Customer service is extremely unhelpful. They changed on-line banking system and required all members to create a new account. Unfortunately, you cannot create a new account without your member ID. They subcontract overflow calls and were extremely unhelpful with gaining access. They basically said sorry about your luck, go into the bank to get help.

This was the worse Kemba branch ive ever been to. I went through the ATM to simply deposit cash and two small checks. I couldnt get a teller so i attempted to deposit my money into the atm myself. My money waa spit back out to me. I walk into the branch and the tellers were rude. Not friendly at all. Then the blonde teller proceeds to run $590 through a money counter. Who cant count that by hand? Then she tells me its a different amount and it may be in the machine. Now i am out of $40. Who are yall hiring?
