Kroger is a popular grocery store that offers a wide selection of food and household products from many well-known brands. Customers can find fresh produce, meats, seafood, dairy, home goods, and pharmaceutical items, making it a convenient one-stop shop for savings. The store is generally clean and maintained well, with friendly employees who aim to assist shoppers. However, some reviews note that the store is smaller in size, which can make it busy and difficult to navigate during prime times. The selection of higher-end and gourmet food products is limited, and prices tend to be higher compared to other stores, especially for specialty items. The store caters primarily to the lower-income neighborhood, which is considered close to a food desert, and it provides good deals for more expensive food items. Parking lot design is sometimes criticized for being too small for the store's capacity. While the store is generally safe and never dark or dirty, occasional customer service issues are mentioned, including moments where staff may seem inattentive or unprofessional. Despite these challenges, Kroger remains a nearby grocery option for local residents, balancing convenience with a focus on affordable, everyday shopping.
My recent shopping was excellent. Someone helped me find exactly what I needed. The prices for canned soup were 50% lower than at giant eagle. The berries were nice and fresh and at a reasonable price. I suggest you go early so you can get close to the entrance.

I am a loyal shopper here but it has been going downhill. The produce I wanted was so full of fruit flies and spent fruits, the yogurts I wanted were expired and there is a sewage smell outside and back by the dairy. It also looked dirty in there. What is happening?

Nice store. Has a very decent kosher section with Lukshen, Kneidlach mix, Kedem Wine and grape juice, Meal Mart and empire meat, and a lot more! Come check this place out!
