I had a late reservation (11pm pickup) & there were very few cars available. The location was also short staffed that night. Even though I waited in frigid temperatures/weather for an hour, I received regular communication from the booth agent & the team worked hard to get us all taken care of (first come, first served). They were awesome to say the least!Hamda Wais was my exit agent & she was more than amazing when helping me get on with my trip! Even though it was late & cold outside, she was warm, pleasant, & answered my questions quickly to keep me moving. I will definitely return to this location.

Finally National Car Rental strikes a balance between expediting your car return while treating customers with respect!I enjoyed working with Caleb (at CMH). He was thorough, to the point, and still treated me with respect by using my name, actually making eye contact, and listening to my comments.Great job Caleb and National!

I only rent my cars from National when going through Columbus. Everyone is great to deal with. Car selection is awesome. AR checked me out and made sure that I was satisfied with my car choice, verified the rate and made sure that I had a full tank of fuel!When I checked back in, everyone was right on it and I was on my way to my flight. They checked to make sure I was pleased and asked if I still had the business card to contact them. I assured them that I did. When someone cares enough to give you a card with their name on it, I keep it. Wouldn't rent from anyone else in Columbus, OH.

National Car Rental has done an outstanding job for me. I especially like being able to choose my car. They are always quick to get me off the lot and quick at the check-in process when I return. They always have a variety of rental types to fit all needs. The rewards program is also good and using their app is simple and easy and keeps all of your rental info at your finger tips.

National Car Rental takes all the typical pain points of renting a car and streamlines the process. In short, they treat you like a VIP, not just another transaction. There is no inefficiency in the rental process at all. I make a reservation at my preferred National location using the app. I show up and pick out any car in the row (no sales rep over my shoulder, watching my every move). I load up my suitcases, hop in and drive away. I always feel like a trusted VIP when I rent a car. You don't waste time going through a 3 page contract and signing your life away - all the paperwork is electronic and automatic. I highly recommend National Car Rental for your next rental - you will never go back to another cut-rate rental agency!

The entire rental experience was the best we have ever had. Only 1 shuttle takes you to all of the rental companies. The 1 building has separate lines for each company. There were water bottles sitting on a counter for the taking. Who doesn’t need water to drink after flying. The guy helping you find your car was just that. We were trying to connect our phone and cable for Apple play and GPS we were struggling, he was great! People were friendly in such a genuine way. We both commented what a pleasant experience it was. Returning was just as easy. Thanks we will certainly be renting again from National.

I had an excellent and efficient time using National. They pulled up my info and sent me off to pick out whatever car I preferred, allowing me to feel a bit safer driving around a new city. Returning the car was easy and everyone along the way was pleasant, welcoming, and kind.

I travel a lot (over 200 days a year) and National is Defiantly my go to for car rentals. The staff always goes Above and Beyond to help, regardless of the city that I may be in that day. Most of the time (except holidays) they always have a Great Selection and I DO enjoy going and picking out the car I want and not relying on "whatever car they give me"(other Car Rental Places). So as long as there is a National Car Rental in the city/town I'm going to, then that is who I rent from.

My wallet and one credit card was left at the National counter on Friday. It was my aging mothers card and I could not cancel it without the number on the card.I called on Saturday and was unable to reach a real person at National Columbus. Taylor did the follow call to check on my rental experience. This is a great policy to do these calls. Taylor is outstanding! Taylor explained lost and found is closed and locked on weekends. She went above and beyond to find the key and found my wallet and credit card. She had it mailed and I now have my mothers card and my wallet. A lot of people would have been content to explain the rules and that I could call back on Monday.She is a problem solver and her focus on helping an individual customer , sets the customer experience apart by her behavior. Please know how grateful I am for Taylor and whoever the employee was that found my wallet and sent it to lost and found. These things may seem small yet the change in mindset and willingness to act on small things has made me a National customer for life! And yes I tell this story to lots of people about Taylor and National. Your brand is your behavior.My many thanks to you and your awesome team at Columbus airport! My experience with National Car Rental was disappointing. After a late-night flight, I had to endure a lengthy wait in line only to be informed by a seemingly indifferent staff member that they had run out of cars, despite my prior reservation. It left me feeling neglected and questioning the reliability of my reservation with National.

I've been a member of the Emerald Club for a few years now and have really seen the benefit of the program. On my most recent trip I had to travel to Columbus for a family medical emergency.When I got to the Emerald Aisle I found a surprise, there was a wonderful Mercedes GLC300 parked right there. I'd never seen a luxury car parked on the Aisle, but thought, OK, this one is mine. I took a picture to make sure the person at the booth believed it was actually there.When I got to the booth, I was told that even though the car was parked on the aisle, it was not eligible for the rate. It wasn't her fault, it scanned as a luxury SUV. I had to either pay an extra $20 a day or switch it out for something else. I agreed to switch it out, but again stated the deal should be honored as it was parked on the Aisle, I had pictures and even saw one of the other employees parking a car near this one as I was pulling out.A supervisor intervened, and confirmed that the car was indeed parked on the Emerald Aisle. That supervisor gave the employee in the booth permission to honor the agreement and the rate. I don't know that the employees of Columbus National Rental car thought much about this interaction, but it did have a tremendous effect.The emergency that I had traveled for ended up in the ultimate sad conclusion. I got to say goodbye to a family member. The story, however, of the luxury rental car was able to bring a few moments of levity to our entire family throughout the course of a very tough week. It was a small thing, but multiple times throughout the week the story was able to induce some smiles through many tears.Sometimes small gestures like this have unintended results that people don't even realize. Thank you to the crew at Columbus airport for helping bring just a little relief to a painful week.

I don't normally write reviews but the experience I received from National Car Rental is worth it. The ease of renting a vehicle, the shuttle to/from the airport, to picking out a vehicle was unmatched! The car was spotless and clean upon arrival. They even took the extra step by giving you two Lysol wipes just in case. Every employee was super friendly and professional. Once I was done with my rental pulling back into the airport car rental return was a breeze! Outstanding service!

Renting from the Columbus Airport was easy and made for a nice experience. The vehicle selection was rather small as it seemed liked they were getting close to being out of cars, but I had a vehicle that met my needs. The one issue I had was the information said the rental car desk was at the terminal and that is not the case. You need to take the shuttle to get to the car rental facility. Pleased with everything else.

OMG!!! What can I say I had a awesome experience while visiting Columbus for the 1st time. Vada is awesome, just all around great customer service. My car was ready, clean, and ready for me to enjoy my stay. I will continue to make this my go to location when I return for future travels.
