T.J. Maxx is the nation's largest off-price retailer, offering an ever-changing selection of high-quality, brand name and designer fashions at amazing value. Customers describe the experience as a personal treasure hunt for affordable treasures, revealing new surprises from stylish clothing to cozy home finds. There are good and not-so-good stores. Some locations are considered the best in their area, with really cute stuff, good prices, a clean store, and nice employees. Other locations are not great, with a merchandise selection that isn't very good, perhaps because it is picked over. The checkout can be really slow, with staff acting like moving at a snail's pace is asking too much, lacking efficiency. While staff are often very nice, customer service experiences can be frustrating, such as during exchanges where management could do better, leaving a bad taste in the mouth. The store is part of a vibrant community hub with ample parking for convenience. Overall, T.J. Maxx provides a budget-friendly adventure to discover renowned brands, though the experience varies significantly by location.
This store is (in my opinion) is always so dirty. There is also a line wayyyyy out the door so even if you find one or two things the wait isn’t even worth it. I come and browse every so often because I do find some nice things but I don’t come here that often.
