I wish perfume displays were not all over the store. There were 3 (minimum) places/kisoskis for ONE brand I wanted to try and buy. Like I had to walk back & forth to see prices, sizes, scents & if lucky, testers. Also, testers for like ALL perfumes ever were empty.

Got my makeup done by Ellie. She was amazing at making me feel at ease and asked a lot of questions for my preference. Very relaxed experienced not rushed.

Most the worker try it to be nice. But a young worker was very rude. We were looking at the display of the Dyson and the worker came and took it from our hands and said that we can not do that, the display didn’t say the we couldn’t touch the Dyson or use the Dyson on our hair. So rude. I was so excited to test it out and buy the Dyson, I will be buying the Dyson at Sephora. This never happens at Sephora, never. I will not come back to Ulta never again.

Awful experience at Benefit brow with Hannah. Online the service states it should be around 20 minutes meanwhile mine was 8 minutes long. She completely rushed through my service and results showed! I left feeling so upset about how they ended up looking. Hannah gave no proper attention or care to the service and it resulted in my choppy eyebrows that I now have to deal with for my graduation party this weekend.

I just got home a bit ago from getting my hair TRIMMED here, I’m not normally one to complain about a haircut, it is just hair after all… but I gave pretty clear instruction on how I wanted my bangs to be cut and now I look absolutely insane with no chance of being able to fix them for at least a month or two. I asked for the sides to be left longer and just to clean up the middle a little, just below my eyebrows, a little on the wispy side and what I was left with (just getting a good look now that I am home and can style it the way I normally would) was semi-straight across (I say semi because the OUTER part of them is somehow shorter than the middle part of them) bangs that are only below my eyebrows if I push them down with my hand. Not to mention, I have a weird hairline as it is, so this just serves to emphasize that fact, which is awesome. It doesn’t even look good for straight across bangs, let alone for rounded, somewhat face framing bangs like I asked for (and already had, mind you- they just needed a trim) I’ve had some bad luck with my bangs in the past few months (because I cut trimmed them too short myself) but to think I paid for something that looks worse than my own attempt? My original thought was that I’ve had ok experiences in the past at Ulta salons, my normal stylist is booked for weeks, and in the essence of saving some money the price sounded right. Maybe I’m just being critical because I had an image in my mind based on what I said I wanted, and this is nothing like that. But suffice it to say, I’m just glad I don’t have any major events coming up in the next couple of weeks, because until this grows out a bit more I’m going to be aggravated enough trying to make it look ok for work. The haircut itself was ok I suppose, but I’d be more ok if the length or layers were jacked up because at least I could hide it while it grew out 😂

I was in there forever on my last visit to Ulta at Easton. Looking for a new foundation...I kept looking around for help and there was nobody around. I spent an hour at least, trying to find a foundation that was not too matte or too dewy. I probably would've been able to save a lot of time if somebody would have offered to help me. The first 45 minutes I was in there, there was barely anybody else in the store. It did get busier after that. There was a girl that worked there.... Her name was Aubrey, I believe. It could have been Audrey. Either way she is the only reason I'm giving more than one star. After I found a foundation (that did not work for me AT ALL, after I got home)... She tried to help me find a perfume and wound up checking me out at the register. She was very friendly.
Usually I go in there and I know exactly what I need, but this day I was trying to find a new foundation to use. I wish somebody would have either been around for me to try and grab and ask for help, or if somebody would have asked me if I needed help...because that day I did. Don't get me wrong it's not like I didn't see people working there. I just kept seeing them rushing back and forth like they were already in a hurry and doing something. AND.... I wound up buying a foundation that... Was just not good for me personally. Maybe if I had some assistance, I would have been able to make a purchase that would've been something that worked better for me and my skin. Something I would've been happy with.

So thankful for the manager, Joey at the Columbus Polaris location! He took the time to check multiple locations and find the translucent setting powder I needed! Great customer service!

It would be ok if when you go in they aren't constantly asking if you need help?! I get asking once but if you continue to ask that gets annoying. Especially when you're going in just to look around. This brand (Ouai) is simply amazing. Check out the hair products. I highly recommend it.

Ulta beauty has a section in the back for hijabi/covered women and it is nice they have a space for us but just a mirror back there to see your hair getting done and styled (instead of holding a small mirror!) would be SO much nicer and feel more salon like. Thank you!!

Skylar in the salon gave my hair an amazing wintry blonde balayage yesterday and I am still jittery with excitement. My friends and family are all very impressed, so all that’s left is to have my co-workers fawn over my hair once we’re all back in office. I highly recommend Skylar for her hard work, taste, and company as she worked with my hair!
