“First time visiting Keener’s Butcher Block after usually getting our meat from DLM, and I’m really glad we made the stop based on a recommendation.
The filet mignons were easily the best thing I’ve ever put on my grill—absolutely outstanding. I also loved that the steaks are cut fresh to order, which makes a noticeable difference in quality.
They’ve got a great variety of sides and other items too, so it’s more than just a quick stop for meat. Honestly feels like a bit of a hidden gem.

“Meijers and Kroger could never!
Tried this place after being disappointed by the meat selection at my local grocery stores. I am NEVER going to buy meat from them again. The customer service at East Dayton meats was fantastic. The quality of the beef is phenomenal. Currently slow cooking chicken purchased from this store, and the size and quality of the meat has blown me away. Can’t wait to fill my deep freezer for this coming winter. 10/10”
