    “Dorothy Lane Market is so impressive. The array of products available is amazing. It's unbelievable how many wonderful foods you can purchase. I highly recommend the ready made hot soups, the salmon chowder soup is delicious. Not to be missed is the bakery known for their famous killer brownies. My aunt treated me to a triple chocolate brownie as a birthday present and I have to admit it is truly the best tasting brownie on the planet. I also enjoyed the chocolate chunk cookie and the Ohio buckeyes. There are tastings of various foods here too which is quite nice. The employees at Dorothy Lane Market are really kind and helpful. It's an expensive place to shop but well worth the occasional splurge.”

    “I work about 5 minutes from this butcher shop, there are roughly 50 employees where I work and ALL of us LOVE Brunk's sandwiches and sides for lunch! I try to eat here at least twice a month, the potatoe salad and ham sammys are so refreshing and filling. Real fresh food that sticks! Old school style like grandma used to make back in the 80s and everytime I eat at Brunks it reminds me of a better era where processed food didnt exist 😀 highly recommended. You can snag lunch here for $10 or less.”

    “First time visiting Keener’s Butcher Block after usually getting our meat from DLM, and I’m really glad we made the stop based on a recommendation. The filet mignons were easily the best thing I’ve ever put on my grill—absolutely outstanding. I also loved that the steaks are cut fresh to order, which makes a noticeable difference in quality. They’ve got a great variety of sides and other items too, so it’s more than just a quick stop for meat. Honestly feels like a bit of a hidden gem. We’ll definitely be back.”

I got my Thanksgiving Turkey for $ .99 a pound, which means I paid 10.99 for my turkey... I liked that a lot. The selection is better than many others. I do plan to return. I think more fresh produce would be nice.”

No set hours whatsoever one week they may be open 3 days the next week 5 days the next week 1 day. And the hours posted 8A.M.-9P.M. haven't been in effect for over a year. Some days they be open from noon til 1P.M. the next day9 to 5. U just never know. And with how good the food is there are ppl that come from all over the city to eat that no longer come due to all the wasted trips there just for them to not be open. You guys need to make a set schedule and stick to it so you can get your customers back!!”

The Far East Center is locally owned, they sell fresh (live) fish, pesticide-free** produce, high quality fresh meats, authentic Chinese/Japanese brand noodles, etc. Basically, they sell food that’s actually GOOD FOR YOUR BODY and should be on all our grocery store shelves. So even if you’re not into Asian food, I still HIGHLY recommend checking out The Far East Center regardless. I'm confident you’ll be more than pleased with the prices, too ???”

    Walmart wants your groceries at the door before the ice cream softens. On May 29, the retailer said its 30-minute-or-less delivery had reached 33 U.S. markets, adding a wave of new cities across the Northeast. Shoppers in those areas can order from more than 100,000 items, everything from fresh produce and baby formula to pet food, electronics, cold medicine, and prescriptions.
