It's Sunday at 10:15 a.m.. Pharmacy "opens" at 10:00 a.m. Not open. I wasted a trip here.

Pharmacy (as other have noted) is absolutely horrible. The "head pharmacist" guy verbally made fun of a customer who had just called in. They used her full name (HIPAA violation) while loudly discussing her issues in a joking manner. Extremely off-putting. I'll be reporting this incident officially.

I've always had a pleasant, easy experience with this pharmacy, but a special shout out goes to the woman working the pharmacy window tonight ❤️ She clearly cares deeply about other's well-being.

We were recently forced to come here by our insurance company. I wasn't crazy about it since I had been going to a rival pharmacy for 25 years. This place does the best they can. In the past several years multiple pharmacies have closed in their vicinity causing it to absorb all their customers, and recently a Pharmacist shortage has arisen. They due a large volume they weren't built for. I was used to very personal staff and prescriptions done within minutes but had to adjust and started getting 90 day supplies to minimize trips. Luckily the insurance lets us fill three times at the old one in case of unexpected illness.

Extremely poor customer service. Routinely prescriptions are not filled timely. No accountability from staff. Pharmacy occasionally closes because no staff available or closes the drive through window due to staffing issues. Consistently the worst CVS experience to the point my family switched pharmacies.

Trust the reviews, the pharmacy here is horrible. The pharmacist doesnt know whats going on and neither does his little helpers. They'll screw you over any chance they get. If you for some reason still decide to pick your prescriptions up here you're a fool.

The pharmacist refused to fill my husband’s prescription for pain medicine and he just had surgery so we had to call CVS corporate and they forced him to do it, but this was three hours later. Corporate said the pharmacist didn’t wanna lose his license by filling the pain medication prescription. He also had the excuse that he needed my medical benefits BCBS to personally tell him that they weren’t paying for it. This is never happened before and I don’t appreciate the pharmacist playing “God” with my husband‘s medication, especially after surgery. I’m moving all of my prescriptions out of the Oakwood CVS store as soon as I can I’m never going back there because I always always always have an issue at the that Oakwood CVS store. The only reason why I’m giving a one star is because I have to. ????? is what they should get.

They kept calling to fill a prescription that was already filled. They're automated system wouldn't connect me with a person at the store. The store oozes incompetence everywhere and is a horrible experience at all points of the customer journey.

Quite possibly the worst pharmacy in the area. Pompous and rude pharmacist (The nasty, snarky younger guy) who seemed to everything. How is the customer supposed to know the CVS changed its policy on certain paper scripts? BTW, you might not want to cop an attitude until you know the situation. Between the overflowing trash bins, and empty pill bottles all over the floor, I'm glad we went to Wags down the street. Completely different experience!

Literally the worst place to get medications I've ever been too. Recently stopped going. Couldn't take it anymore.

Phone calls to the pharmacy will be disconnected if storefront is busy and employees don’t answer the line. This has happened multiple times, so I am obligated to physically visit the store for questions about my medication. I brought this to the attention of staff today and was told, by the pharmacy employee working the drive-thru window, that this couldn’t be helped when there were lots of customers being tended to in person. I asked her to please notify the manager, as this business model is problematic for customers who can’t always make it to the store in person. I received an eye roll and dismissal, so I had to ask explicitly again if she could please present the concern to management. Based off of the interaction and lack of professionalism, I am concerned that the practice of hanging up on customers will not be addressed. Pharmacy staff on other occasions have been unprofessional, as well, including workplace gossip about customers and coworkers in earshot of customers in line, waiting to be tended to while chit chat continues. Apparently the pharmacy closes at the same time for lunch every day, but nowhere do signs indicate this. I am under the impression that the pharmacy and store as a whole want fewer customers and are trying to discourage Oakwood residents from using their services, instead of better training and staffing the facility. I’ll gladly revise this review if there’s an improvement in customer service.

Something is just broken here. I believe the staff are working as hard as they can but there aren’t enough of them. Whatever the cause, getting prescriptions here is time consuming and frustrating. The drive through is never open but there’s no sign saying so until you pull all the way up.

Worst experience ever. Calling in an attempt to verify medication in-stock before having doctor e-scribe, called multiple times over three days, ALL calls were on hold at least 30 MINUTES before giving up, never once having reached a person. Inexcusably horrible service.

Absolute wreck of a pharmacy, always clueless and a disaster. You’d think since they completely shut down for an HOUR lunch, they’d be able to perform the other hours they’re there. I’ve been a customer for years and finally switched. High staff turnover rate means employees have no experience and it’s impossible to get anyone to answer the phone. Sadly many have complained and nothing changes because they don’t care.

Hi, do not care for the service received from this particular pharmacy. I waited for 32 minutes on hold for simple questions that I needed answered. And when I got the girl in the phone, she seemed a little put off that I was upset about a 32 minute wait. I have gone to the drive-through before I have sat there for over 30 minutes whilst the person was waiting on one person for that period of time. I am very dismayed with CVS.
