Not a good experience at all but not this locations fault entirely
I made an online reservation for the location closest to me that had availability. I received my confirmation on Thursday for my Sunday rental. I arrived at the location I choose and proceeded to the counter to pickup the trailer. I was then informed by the 3rd street staff my reservation was not available and I would have to go to a different location further away. I asked for a discount since I would be going out of my way and wasting time. I was told since my reservation was automatically changed to the other location I would not be getting any discount and was told “it’s not that far away” and so I left. Why do I not have any communication from Uhaul that my pickup location changed?. I arrived at the linden location and there was a wait but eventually I was served by a very nice employee Autumn who helped me get going. Now an hour and a half late I got on my way. Get to my vehicle to be transported and find one of the straps is completely non functional. More time of mine spent making it work. I will not do this again this was the worst Uhaul experience I’ve ever had.

Bad Truck . Found weed . And lack of service on the weekend . Truck overheated . Was overcharged with no roadside assistance . Lost All of our food and truck was broke into because we had to leave it on a bedside of town . We losted over $2000 in goods . With a loss of time at work due to chaos . I took out Comp Coverages . But was misled and overcharged . Nothing was done . No claim . But was overcharged $75 .00 for miscellaneous things. Daughter found weed underneath seat after we went to return the UHaul truck . Wasn't a large amount it was the point . Other than that been using UHaul for 40 plus years . Just a terrible experience

I had never driven a truck before so driving the u-haul was a fun experience for me! I would have given five stars, but we couldn't find the drop box to drop the keys at the end of the night. We looked everywhere, but to no avail, we couldn't find it even though the return directions said it was there. Good experience over all!

Make SURE you get your RECEIPT!!!! Waited a MONTH to charge me extra fees!! $200 gone without notice or warning!!! I was expecting extra charges & at the time I made the purchase, I had the extra money ... I planned for this. I did not plan on having my ENTIRE Bank Account DRAINED 30 days later

Overall, my experience with this rental was good, although the air conditioning in the van was in serious need of either repair or recharging, which made driving it a struggle on a hot summer day. The UHaul app-based process to check out the van glitched horribly at the point where it was supposed to figure out that I was in the store, so much so that the gal working there had to step in and check me in manually. Ultimately she was helpful, and pleasant through a stressful process which glitched badly a few times on her end too, but I couldn't help noticing some newbie training issues in her process like: When she tried to resolve my issue with the phone app, she connected my phone to the store WIFI, without knowing whether it was encrypted, possibly exposing my personal data. When typing in my credit card number, she read it aloud, where anyone who happened to be in earshot could have heard it. These appear to be ingrained habits born of youth and inexperience which I believe should be addressed through training, given the seriousness of identity theft these days.

I honestly didn’t have a great experience. When I first got there everything seemed fine until one of the employees was telling me where I needed to go and what I HAD TO DO. I ordered a dolly with a truck, I figured once I got there everything would be loaded and ready to go. That was not the case at all. I was told to get my own dolly, and find my own truck - after 15/20mins searching for the truck I finally came back into the building and the staff was playing around cussing, one girl was threatening to beat the other guy up if the truck wasn’t where it needed to be. Anyways after all of this I finally load up my dolly into the truck and can’t seem to get the door down. I pull back up to the front to get some help - which he did help but complained that he might lose his fingers. The best part about it all was actually dropping off the unit where I didn’t have to talk to a single person here. I will never go here again, I’d rather travel somewhere further to get a better experience.

Made an appointment to get a hitch installed. I was there 15 minutes before my appointment and checked in. After 45 minutes, I asked what was going on, because they hadn't taken my car back. That's when a young man came out to tell me that nobody told him I was waiting, and he was still working on his previous appointment. when I asked him how much longer, he said he didn't know because he was already late clocking out. I just got my keys back. No communication, just left in the seating area. Completely ridiculous. I gave 1 star because I couldn't give ZERO

That place is a joke I had a unit at both Dayton locations I seen more people living in the burkhardt locations than I did any of the employees let alone store “Manager” Cora over on linden I’m pretty sure she supposed to manage both locations only thing she managed to do was lose customers kudos to her I then decided to move to a unit at the linden location needless to say I wasn’t there long either before I found a different storage unit keep up the good work uhaul!!!!

Cost too much. Wanted one more day and they wanted to charge me 240.00 plus mileage. Will never use u-haul again!

Despite encountering system outages at U-Haul and facing challenges at multiple locations where assistance seemed unavailable, Jessie’s exceptional support shone through. Not only did she swiftly resolve my concerns, but she also efficiently assisted me with storage arrangements. Although it required a considerable drive to seek help, I’m grateful I did. Furthermore, it was evident that customer care was a priority for all staff members, as they exhibited kindness and provided excellent service to every customer in the store.
