“I have been using Gompers for over 10 years now and I have been a very loyal customer choosing here over anywhere else in the valley until I was informed one day that a new controlled substance medication would not be filled there because the medication was not one that he carried and he didn't plan on changing that! Honestly, my feelings were very hurt!!! After being a client for so long and being so dedicated to this small town business, how could someone be so judgmental about my medications when your not my doctor. Your job is to fill the medications my doctors call in to your establishment not to pass judgement or tell me you wont fill it or order it and act as though you think I don't need it! Most of the time I have no issues, and I understand everyone has bad days, but as a professional and especially when you own a SMALL BUSINESS, you would think that you would do all you could to maintain your relationship with each and every client, especially when your being gifted my loyalty. The ladies there are all amazing and will do all they can to help. I also had an issue with my husband being told he could not pick up my meds that were controlled substances, despite me giving permission over the phone. I was sick and tried to have Gompers give my medications to my husband and he REFUSED to give them o him despite knowing him, me calling in permission, and on my next in person visit I even attempted to have it put in my record that my husband could pick them up and would be willing to provide them with identification of who he was and even offered to sign a release for him to do so and again I was met with nothing but NO! This is not how things are done at any other pharmacy (including other small town pharmacy's I checked with) so I had a very hard time trying to understand why this place is so different!”

“I have been with Kroger's pharmacy for a long time and I have to say that things have gotten really bad. And it doesn't seem to mean which location either. They are way too busy to keep up they run out of medications constantly there's times where you have to wait days for a medication to come in that you need right now not in a few days right now. I'm not sure what's going on I know that whatever it is has affected Kroger's pharmacies very badly along with a few other chains. Until the last year and a half or so there wasn't anything that I could complain about they did great they were on time they were informative they were pleasant they were organized they they were always stocked but that has definitely changed”
“Super friendly and helpful employees and a great place to shop. We prefer this Kroger over the MtD by far. Yes it is a bit smaller, but they do a great job providing groceries to the community.”
“This place is excellent, their prices are great if you're willing to buy large cases of whatever you need. Electronics are a little overpriced compared to online prices, but that's the case everywhere around here and they're better than best buy. Having to buy a membership to shop here is a little annoying, but they do keep prices lower than everywhere else so I think it's probably worth it. The cafeteria is the best part of the store, you don't need a membership to eat there and the food is excellent (if a bit too greasy). Prices there are fantastic too, $1.75 for a full size pretzel covered in cheese and pepperoni is a great value (favorite thing on the menu by the way, get one!). Drinks are only 89 cents right now too and they have like 20 drinks to choose From. The service is almost always good too, very nice people working there. If you're turned off from the atmosphere and people at Wal-mart, don't assume this is just an extension of that. It's been consistently great the last 9 out of 10 or so times I've been here.”

“This review is for the automotive department. I had summer tires placed on my truck by a local tire shop. Even after returning to that local tire shop with serious concerns, they failed to properly balance and inflate my tires. I called Sam’s Automotive and explained what had happened. The men at Sam’s Automotive got me scheduled that day and not only checked out my truck, but balanced my tires appropriately and made sure they were inflated correctly. If I could give them a 10 star rating, I would. I hope the manager reads this and gives these men a raise. I didn’t catch their names, but I’d love to give them a huge THANK YOU!”

“The pharmacy technicians are kind but what I can’t understand is why the pharmacist just sits back there, checking prescriptions and never runs the cash register and doesn’t even seem to help fill. I know it’s important role that the pharmacist has to check the medication before it is released to the customer but they could do a little bit more because the technicians are definitely overworked, and over whelmed especially when there’s only one there.”

“My husband and I were visiting our grandson at college in Wheeling. We traveled from Chicago and my husband realized his insulin bottle was empty and he could not fill his pump. We called the doctor in Chicago at 9pm to have a RX sent to CVS for pickup first thing the next morning and they had it ready at 9am when they opened.”
