I’ve been pleased with the Meijer pharmacy. If you use the app, you can re-order your refills and do “Xpress checkout, “ where you can pay for it before you get to the pharmacy so everything‘s ready to go. I also like their drive-through window, so I don’t have to leave the car and wait in line inside.

Multiple instances where we have been lied to about times prescriptions would be ready. Previously, arrived hours after the time told to me on the phone, only to be told it’s not ready. After waiting for an hour, I was told they don’t have any and it should be filled the next day.

Dan mentions that he can't except Medicaid for COViD Shots. All other pharmacies do. Dan please amend your rules. Both OSU and Walmart, Target and CVS and all over pharmacy are accepting and giving shots for free.

Prescriptions often often unfilled even though I get the text that they are ready. Getting something filled has taken over a week due to ineptitude.

Really good pharmacy with 2 experienced pharmacists. I've been going here 30 years for my Rx refills. I do my refill requests on my cell phone and pick them up in 1 or 2 days. I use GoodRx for a large discount on my prescription.

I had a wonderful experience picking up my prescription for the first time at this pharmacy and had quite a few questions and the pharmacist answered all of my questions and more! I then had another prescription get sent in and had to call to ask a question and Denise was very helpful and I cannot recommend this pharmacy enough!!

This is kind of a mixed bag for me, but unfortunately because of a situation I had with them, one star. I initially really liked this pharmacy, I actually switched from Kroger because they had a medication in stock that was temporarily unavailable at Krogers. The customer service when I picked things up was excellent, and the auto-refill and text updates are really great. Everything was going well until I had to drop off some new scripts for my medication. I should explain I am on 10+ medications and two of them I MUST have, I cannot even wait an hour later to take the medication without serious trouble. I gave them an extra three or four days to fill it because two of the medications (the ones I MUST have) tend to be in short supply in this area of Columbus sometimes. Three or four days passed and they kept making up excuses and claiming they could not get it. I called Kroger and CVS and they were low so I waited as long as I could for Meijer to come through. They ended up getting my medications in on the day I ran out. I called them that day to explain I would take any amount. They told me they now had some of one type of medication but they would not give it to me due to a pharmacist not liking the dosing for some reason? The problem that they were having was that I break one of the pills in half, apparently this was an issue...even though I had been getting prescriptions from them for several months, and It had clearly told them i was breaking pills in half. Strange no issue with this for months..but this time was a problem for some reason. They told me they had called my doctor to get "permission" from him and talk to him about the dosing. This was Thursday maybe noon-1pm. I knew my doctor would answer them right away, because its very important I have these meds. I waited and no word, I called back later before they closed and they told me neither he nor his assistant had called them. I found that weird, but my doctor was already closed for the day. Basically they kept saying day after day they couldn't release the medication and my doctor had not answered. I left messages with my doctor and got very upset with them for not calling the pharmacy. I went 4 days without medication, Meijers kept calling me telling me the doctors would not answer them. It was the weekend most of that time and so i could not get through to my doctor. I was so ill I was almost hospitalized. On Saturday my husband called them begging for them to give me just a few pills, they told him to go somewhere else..BECAUSE, they actually never had it in stock and had not ordered any because my prescription was being held pending them talking to my doctor. He explained that he would need my perscription paper back or for them to transfer it. He asked if any Meijer in the city could help. The person on the phone basically said there was nothing he could do and pretty much led us to believe we could not get the prescription back to use at another pharmacy. (which is totally not true) I left an emergency notice at my doctors and on Monday they called me back...and they told me that they had spoken to the Meijer pharmacy the first day they called, all the way back on Thursday!!! It had been approved on Thursday. So they were angry and called the Meijers Pharmacy while i waited on hold. Low and behold I got a text message during talking to my doctors assistant when she came back to me. It said all my prescriptions were ready. The assistant told me that they admitted that the approval with the pharmacist had gotten "lost in the shuffle" and when she asked them about it they found it under a pile of papers. I found out later to just go to the hospital to get meds the next time this happens and that they could easily transfer my prescription or give it back to me. But I have never had this happen before so I did not know any of that. I went and got my meds, but never filled there again. I don't know what would have happened if this had happened to someone even sicker than me. I would not go here. It may have been a one time m

Customer service is horrible. When I went to transfer a prescription over from another pharmacy I felt like I had to do their job. He asked me for the pharmacist name from where the prescription was being transferred from, the pharmacy's phone number and also had to verify the doctors name with the phone number listed on their computer! Working in pharmacy I know that this is not procedure whatsoever. After 20 minutes of my time I was told it takes a day for a transferred prescription. I was confused because it was a weekday and morning time?! So I agreed after going through all that. I signed up for text messaging he text told me it would be ready at 1 I go there just to find out hey don't have it in stock :( I have to wait another two days. Just horrible customer service and communication
