“I hope I'm spelling her name right, but Leia does the greatest job ever, and I can't thank her enough for her patience and hard work. Truly is a great experience she is working as I use Samsung & Google Pay on my phone to pay for my items, and she's able to get my items checked out in a very polite professional cordial friendly manner when I'm prompted to pay as some of the elderly cashiers struggle finding whatever has to be tapped on the touchscreen to enable the Google Pay & Samsung Pay that will be probably used more by customers each & everyday. Truly is my favorite convenience store in North Canton & what I think is the best. Please give Leia a nice, much deserved raise & bonus!”
“Cheap TVs which is surprising plus tons of other wild little things you probably don't need but definitely want... huge snack selection really good beer choices and tons of dog/cat supplies plus furniture, electronics, yard care and hardware-ish items for the low”
“I had the best end to my work day! I needed to find 15 bags of all different candies and I’m not a sweets person, nor am I up on the latest trends in candy! I had a wonderful man who helped me find everything without me asking and I was so grateful. It would have taken me 30 minutes to find all of these tasty treats…less than 5 minutes and I had everything I needed. I wish I would have got his name. He had an awesome beard and really cool tattoos. Thank you again. There are still good, genuine people in the world.”
“This Dollar General location was huge on the inside. Most DG's I've been in they pack it with so much stuff you can barely walk down an aisle let alone with another person opposite you. They had what I needed. If it wasn't so far I'd make this a normal DG I'd visit.”
“Visually the store was lacking. It needs some updates. Looks like a hood Big Lots. However, i found a full selection of items to decorate and coordinate my bathroom. I love the completed look! It was a successful visit and my first time there.Update: I've been to Big Lots many times since my review. I definitely feel as though the atmosphere has improved. I find myself strolling thru most of the isles there now and have found some really great deals.”
“I love this location not only because it's convenient, but it's always fully stocked. The store is very clean and the customer service is great! I work in retail myself and I can easily recognize whether or not someone is going above and beyond and they definitely do that here! I use the Dollar General app as well and clip digital coupons and the last time I shopped here I saved $21.00 in store discounts alone! I am very happy about that and my experience was fantastic as always!”
“People that work here are very helpful and friendly. I can always count on saving money here. I often get hardware pieces here for a quarter of the price of a hardware store.”
“They don't really help you out a lot if you're looking for something in their store they just point you in the direction and you got to find it yourself and if you have an appt with them sometimes two coupons on the app do not come off when they're supposed to every store is different though but if you can get the app to work you can get really good deals here with couponing”
“This DG is just a minute away and is my go to when I need random items to stock up. All the cashiers are friendly. Store is almost always cleaned up and has a good variety of products. Overall I have no complaints!”
“Great for a quick stop. Can be long lines at times, while employees are standing around arguing with each other about who is going to run registers and who isn't. If you're looking to save money then this is a great place. If you're looking for professionalism from front end employees, it's likely not your place. Shelves are stocked and selection good. Can find some good buys on meat the day before shelf life expires. Sometimes half off. Allows you to stock up your freezer when you find them. Overall average experience from what I would expect from SaveALot.”
“Nice staff. The only issue I have is I can tell some of the frozen products get thawed and refrozen. (One example is the hot and spicy banquet wings). I think they have a problem with their coolers staying at temp.”
“Marc's is a great store so long as you realize it's a discount retailer and tailor your expectations accordingly. The store is clean and the staff are very friendly. The prices are generally very good, with some exceptions like bread and canned goods where you can do better buying a store brand at a higher-end store. The produce is pretty solid, the frozen, dairy and grocery sections carry a good selection of reasonably priced brand name items, and the closeouts section always has something interesting. I don't really recommend the meat, it's about what you would get at Walmart, but it's ok. They do have a lot of food items you can't get elsewhere, such as a large number of items from Germany and Poland and a big selection of Goya products. This is one of the best stores actually in the city rather than the suburbs.”

“Gabe's has gone downhill since they were bought out by another company. The prices are higher. The clothes are cramped in, can't get a wheelchair through. The main big isles now have tables full of items. Makes it worse to get through. Then the checkout area. You have to go through a maze to get to a unpersonal checkout. The registers are set up in an assembly line. No room to unload your items. If you are handicapped you can't get to the counter. Shame on you Gabe's you can do better!”
“seems like there is always boxes of inventory in the way, making it hard to get through isles to do shopping. Staff is friendly though and there have been workers trying to restock every time I'm there.”
“Employees are always polite and quick to greet you upon walking in. Everything is pretty well stocked. The selection is a little smaller than some other DG's but decent.”
“This new location here on South chapel is very close to where I live I pop in there three possibly four times a week since it's opened and the store always looks great and the people are always helpful and from my experience that's a rarity when it comes to Dollar general stores”
“I had my mother and fathers food card and I spent 14 dollars that was over the limit! The lady that was running the check out ! BTW HER NAME IS PATTI! WHAT AN AWESOME HUMAN! “We like Stadium perks because we found out they had fresh water down there that you could get and that's all we use so that was very very surprising we go down there probably every two weeks.”
“The employees were very nice and super helpful. The only drawback to the visit was the cages of inventory all over. Not the staff's fault, I'm sure it's very difficult to try and stock shelves, clean the place and wait on the constant stream of people. Overall not a bad trip.”
“I live 5 hours away from this store but, a gentleman here ran away from his group home. He ended up in Canton. He had no money no food etc. I got him a bus ticket home but he hadn't eaten in days or had his meds. I tried paying for something over the phone which I couldn't do but I spoke with Heather who immediately helped the gentleman! I have prayed for her blessing since. It was above and beyond and more appreciated than anyone could ever know.”
“There is a young girl with dark brown hair that works at this drug mart location, I think her name is Isabelle??? I hope I have the name right. She is the sweetest young lady. She has waited on me a few times and every time she has been very outgoing, helpful, and sweet. I bought a bunch of items marked down and she told me she made sure the prices rang up correctly. She has perfect customer service!”

“I go to both the 12th Street location as well as the Cleveland Avenue location. The workers are both very nice at both although I know they are overworked and understaffed especially at the 12th Street location. So I appreciate their efforts. I like going there because they accept my insurance monthly food benefits for payment. With not driving they're both easy to get to and make getting needed items between major shopping trips much easier”
“I always like the close out aisles! You can find some good deals. Great selection of wines too! The produce is always good and a great price. They carry Troyer's pies! It is a clean store. However, like all other places you get the not so friendly staff. Not saying they are all like that, but have had a few that have been just kind of cold, not friendly. If you need a window air conditioner, they were only 149.99! Which I think is an awesome price!”
“Over all nice place to shop. Good prices on most things. The toys from last year have new prices right over the old ones and alot were blacked out with sharpie and new one 3 to 5 more over top. That sucked but still shopped.”
